RPG Dice - Dice Roller for Android
Haven't used it but I love
This is a great dice roller for Star Wars, but there's one flaw: it aggregates the results of Force dice by having dark side and light side Force points cancel each other out and showing the "total" at the bottom. So if you roll two light side points and one dark side points, the total result at the bottom will show one light side point. But light side and dark side Force points don't cancel each other. What the roller should show at the bottom in my example is two light side points and one dark side points. Would be nice if this were fixed in future editions (this review applies to v. 3.0.1) Edit to add: Another good feature would be the ability to reroll some of the dice from a roll you just made. Several talents in SWRPG permit the player to do this.
Its free, it works. The roll results are a good amount of random. Im using it for FFG Star Wars. It has the all the simple functionality it requires making it very helpful tool during roleplay sessions. Couldn't ask for more
Any chance you could rearrange the SWRPG dice so they appear in the same order? Small quality of life thing, but people might find the app to be slightly more intuitive that way. A very good app, regardless.
I loved this dice roller game because it had so many dice from different games I never thought I could find a dice roller for my star wars game which I had list the only ones I could find were pay for and I was going to just buy normal dice UNtil I saw this dice roller
It's an awesome app especially since my D & D group as a whole continuously forgets the dice
Have used it for regular dice, EotE and Fate. Great to use for all. I like that it shows the values of each dice, and an aggregate.
Perfect for beginners!!! We can quickly see the dice pool. I terpret it without losing time on "sorting" them :)
Great app for d&d, can roll multiple dice at once, quick and easy to read. No ads.
Is there a way to pay to remove ads?
Works as expected. Some better distinguishable result dice would be nice, though
Really useful
Useful
Learning a new game system can be a challenge. This app is helping to diminish the time to catch up.
LOADED DICE. It clearly rolls high. After a few games I was suspicious and I tested 64 rolls of 2 green 2 purple. 54 success, 29 adv, 42 threat and 33 failure. Fail and threat in same roll only once! Dodgy!
It's a good app for what it does, which is simulate dice rolls for D20 systems, Star Wars, and Fate. I've had good rolls, great rolls, amd terrible roles. It seems pretty uniform to me, but I've only used it for 5 game sessions for a change of pace while using my actual dice.
Seen generic dice rollers out there but this goes above them! its simple a user friendly and comes with dice for two other popular systems
Can you add the new Genysys dice, which are similar to star wars dice to this ? Its great as is too, so glad I got this
Great roller, used got it because there was multiple sessions of star wars and I needed dice.
There are no anamations
As a dice roller it does what it does. I've seen better dice rollers with more options, but I got this specifically for the free Star Wars dice roller. Works perfectly for that. The ads are not in the way so I'm okay with that.
Quick, clean, simple, and effective. Everything I needed for Star Wars, D&D, and Fate all wrapped up in a FREE app that needed no permisions. The PERFECT dice app!
Wanted a basic e-dice roller for beginners D&D and it worked great, it has a D4 D6 D8 D10 D12 D20 and D100 all work with no bugs
I love it! It's everything I need for FATE and EotE!
Seems to roll all die on the high side.
I would like to buy an ad free version.
I love the Star Wars summaries.
Excellent app for the gamer on the go.
Does what it does, and does it well
Like using this dieroller when I am running or teaching Edge of the Empire and related Star wars rpgs. Especially when run quick games in the field. Added functions have also become favorites of friends. Easy to see results. Simple use. Growing options
I seem to get fairly random rolls, it's easy to pick how many dice of what types I want to roll, and it doesn't require special permissions. Easily the best dice app I've ever tried.
After the update, the icon shows as an Android head instead of the die.
Absolutely perfect
Fast and easy to use whether you are rolling standard rpg dice, a die pool, or the custom dice fantasy flight games makes for their Star Wars line of games: edge of the empire, age of rebellion, & force and destiny. Also has the bonus of being able to select from several sizes.
It's fast, easy, and has a clean setup. I would recommend a "Totals" addition, so that it would show a single success, failure, etc symbols with the number of that result attached. Would make it even easier to interpret the results.
it's not bad. I like the way it counts both DM and player dice and gives you the result. Would be better if I could remove dice from the roll pool. If I put the wrong one in it takes forever to clear and re enter the correct combination when you start getting more complicated rolls...
Super simple and fast. Does the basics really well. I like the fact that it shows the roll total as well as the the result for each die. Feature request: the ability to reroll individual dice for games that allow rerolls of certain values (like 1s and 2s). And the ability to customize the color of the standard dice.
11 stars. Simple effective app does exactly what I want with no nonsense. FF Star wars dice bring it over the top.
I would expect to be able to remove a die from the list of selected dice by tapping on it, instead of using the clear button and then adding all the other dice back again.
