TELEPORTER

TELEPORTER transports you to random places around the world via the experimental version of Google Maps Street View, which range from typical views to looking at planet Earth from a space station to Antarctic views of vast mountainous glaciations to a few custom panoramas done by Andrews's students; these custom panoramas examine the idea of the teleporter and teleportation literally and figuratively; they have approached TELEPORTER as a work of art.

TELEPORTER was created by Jim Andrews and the students of Mobile App Development in the Interaction Design Essentials program at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, Canada. TELEPORTER is a free hybrid app that was developed in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Phonegap.
