WiFiGap for Android
Often in the mobile devices, the WLAN is activated when a corresponding network is nearby. But if this is no longer the case, the activation persists nonetheless. This may not be a good thing for the power consumption of the device, but just limit the use of the smartphone. And just think of the annoying manual switching between WLAN and mobile networks.
Android 4
WiFiGap goes another way - If the network is not in the immediate vicinity, the WLAN is automatically disabled or there is a change to the mobile Internet. In this way can be carried out smoothly using the mobile device.
The switching between WLAN and mobile data or disabling the wireless network is carried out after a preset period of time. In the settings, the time can be adjusted manually. Similarly, the automatic activation of the mobile internet must be enabled.
Android 5.0
Under Android 5 switching between WLAN and mobile data is no longer supported.
