Visit A City

Despite working for an airline and traveling frequently, I thought I knew everything about guides, magazines and apps for travel advice. How wrong I was. Visit a City is a phenomenal app with a huge range of cities and itineraries with so much flexibility and options. My favourite tool is the ability to select an itinerary of the length that I am in the city for and then adapt the start time and places I want or don't want to go and then the app works out the best route and timings (or you can make this yourself). I really can't recommend the app enough!

Amazing app. Very comfortable. My favorite thing about it is that it puts the sites you chose in a map and the order is for walking distances, and if you decide to add something else you can choose the option "help me find the best time for it" and then the app just offers you the time slots where you're already nearby! Saved me so much headache with searching for the best routes on Google maps.. This app is also connected to Google maps and Waze which is very helpful throughout the trip. There are lots of other very helpful features! Including tips for budget savings and much more. So if you're a person of order and planning your trip ahead, or on the contrary don't have time to plan it, download "visitacity" and you won't regret it.

I have set up a dozen cities for upcoming se asia holiday. Including a detailed 5 days in Hanoi. I love that you know immediately if there is a clash in your plans, eg a museum was closed on the day I had planned to visit so I changed days. Test will be if it works offline when I'm out and about.

Love that the app is available offline. Had trouble signing in with Google a few weeks back but reached out to customer support and they converted my account to username and password resolving the issue. It was so helpful planning 3 days in Paris and 3 days in Rome.

The app has some good features but for me it did not work in all locations I have tried to use it. All the time I tried to use the navidation toool to the places of interest shown on the map it said I was too far away from the place and unfortunately I had to give up and manage somehow to find the way.

The app is a miracle and a saviour. It is the next best thing after a washing machine and a refrigerator. I left a very positive review last year but after I have been using it for longer I had to write another one. Thanks a lot!

One of my favorite apps that makes my planning a breeze! With customized itineraries, maps and just the right amount of information, this app is perfect for those who hate planning but want everything planned out for them!

Awesomely great app! Loved it. So useful. I was able to not only make a one day trip to Florence according to my train timings, but also got restaurants at a good price and was able to make a detailed minute wise plan to real the best benefits for the tour. <3 love it.

Very useful if you plan on a pc and then open the itinerary using the app. Cant really make a plan in the app if you cant modify the time of the visit or the order in which the attractions appear in a day when you add them...

Very useful to give u ideas about cities you dont know much about. Great offline maps to help you find your way if you dont have service everywhere and even gives a full plan itinerary depensing on whether you want to see everything or just the most popular attractions

It seems very useful, but i don't see how to put in dates of my trip so it can check opening hours of attractions. No point in going on a day the museum is closed!

Bad synchronization between desktop and mobile app. Desktop app is far easier to use.

I used this App for my travel to Italy. Worked fine for milan , Venice and florance. Night mode a little bit difficult follow and more cuties need to add.

Great app! Used it while travelling this summer in Europe and it saved me a lot of time researching all the must-see places in each city. Also liked the day tours they advertise. And the offline option was also helpful!

Very usefully app, it helps you to organise your trip efficiently and do not miss any attraction. It works offline!

Useless app.. offline maps and guides don't work if you are not connected to internet. App hangs frequently.

The 1-4 day tours are great if you are lucky enough that your city is listed. Otherwise, they just have a bunch of ads for various tourist attractions with no indication if the attraction is worthwhile. Need more cities with tours.

A great app to use to get around a city you're not familiar with. I used it during my trip to Italy to all the cities I visited and used the app to plan my day. It worked perfectly.

This, combined with their website is the best thing ever. I can't recommend it enough!

Gives you a neat overview of your day! And also love that it tracks nearest restaurants and attractions! Definitely a must use for all travel!

I used this app to plan and follow the route when visiting Zurich. It was excellent, really easy to use and very helpful to help me make the most of my time in the city.

Awesome app. Can easily plan and customise your trip. Its got an interactive map and is available to download offline

Unlike other trip planners you can customize your days a little more once you figure out how to do it. I also found it had more destinations to search for.
