Visca! - English Pronunciation

L'app Visca! English Pronunciation ensenya la pronunciació anglesa mostrant clarament la relació entre la manera que s'escriuen els mots i la manera que es pronuncien. L'app consisteix en 4 paquets de 100 mots/paquet, de franc, i 10 paquets que costen 1 euro/paquet:

Noms (~800 mots/paquet):
★ Beginner
★ Lower intermediate
★ Upper intermediate
★ Advanced
★ Expert

Verbs (~650 mots/paquet):
★ Beginner
★ Advanced

Adjectius (~500 mots/paquet):
★ Beginner
★ Advanced

Altres [preposicions, adverbis, etc.] (545 mots)


★ Cada paquet és compost de llistes de 50 paraules; per exemple, hi ha 16 llistes de 50 paraules en cadascuna de les cinc categories de Noms.
★ Les llistes s'ordenen segons la importància (freqüencia d'ús) dels mots; és a dir, en el paquet Beginner Nouns, els mots de la llista 1-50 són més importants/comuns que els de la llista 751-800.
★ Les paraules de cada llista s'organitzen segons la manera que es pronunciïn; per exemple, en Beginner Nouns, el mot "man" va seguit dels mots "plan", "pan", "can" i "fan".

NOTA: Encara que els mots "plan", "pan", "can" i "fan" són menys comuns que "man", l'important és que hi fan rima, i així mostren com paraules que s'escriuen igual sonen igual.

L'app funciona així: Un cop triat una llista (p.e., Beginner Nouns 201-250), la pantalla mostrarà:
★ el número: 251
★ el mot: daughter
★ la traducció: filla
... i se sentirà una veu humana pronunciant la paraula.
Quan arribi al mot 250, l'app fa "loop": tornarà a repetir tota la llista.

Una característica important és que, mentre passen les paraules, el botó "Save" permet guardar els mots problemàtics. Després, des de la pàgina inicial, es pot optar per escoltar aquesta llista de paraules prèviament guardades. Finalment, mentre s'escolta la llista desada, el botó "Unsave" elimina aquestes paraules de tal llista.

★ Each packet is composed of lists of 50 words, for example, there are 16 lists of 50 words in each of the five categories of names.
