Its really good in detecting apps with virus.... But..This app needs to be updated!!!!!! It keeps crashing... It stops responding and closes when I selected the apps marked in red ...

After months of trying to solve issues with popping ads, this was the only so that actually got the job done after trying a dozen or so apps.

It would be 5 stars if the apps didn't display a question mark instead of the proper result. Please update your app to detect everything. I will be looking forward to seeing you update your app.

The app needs more work

Before this app, I had a problem with my phone and my dad said it looked like a virus. So I got this app and found out there was a virus. When I deleted the virus my phone was better!!

NOTE:9-15-12 DELETED since when clicked Their WebSite I got WARNING Their Certificate is NOT TRUSTED!!! .... I had installed 9/9/12 & tried it out. No problems detected at that time, tho I did NOT OPEN THEIR WEBSITE at That Time. *Caution* rated from 5 to 1★

It constantly crashes when I try to click on something. also when it's scanning the box keeps moving weirdly. I don't even know how to use the app as I haven't even opened one scanned app yet :/

Keeps on crashing so 4 stars, but give it 4 stars as I know has great potential

The application I was looking for is "virus total uploader". I installed this app for the upload tab on the website but it's missing .Cannot stop the automatic scan at startup

Much like VT Uploader 2.0, the max file size limit is wrong and needs to be updated to be in accordance with the main site. Thank you.

I found info with this app that I couldn't find with any other simple idea scans and compares based on current info on the web. Status of what is installed and what is hidden most apps miss what is hidden

Virustotal gives now black screen when scanning app and virustotal stops working. .. some problem with the database ...

Tells me data usage is a virus 302 to vt website gets a 401. ....

Try to view the full information of the application in question or in red and get the good ol 403 error. Or have also gotten the "you are not authorized to view this website" everytime

Gives you a summary of all warnings about apps on your device. PROBLEM: this needs to be able to move to SD card. Uninstalled for this reason. Cost is 1-star.

No issues or crashes. I'm guessing the crashes on other devices are hardware related. The LG G5 specs are very high.

Wouldn't matter if the app was more informative; but clicking the web info link on a suspect app only brings me to a 403 forbidden page notice. Perhaps this is because really useful information is only available to those who "Join our community". If that's the case, then it should at least be stipulated up front. For now, I think I'll pass.

The app works and checks everything, but when I try to submit an app it asks to log in and rejects my credentials, even though they work on the website. Seeing as this was last updated on 2012, it might be broken indefinitely.

Software works fine, great idea and is easy to use. One drawback: needs more users to build a more extensive database. Help make this app better for everyone (more importantly, for me): download it now, and use it =P

Worked fine on Android 2.2. Crashes constantly in Kit Kat. Currently unusable. Needs to be updated. Lots of false positives for ad networks and security tools. VirusTotal itself is a great service so it's a shame the app no longer functions properly.

But it keeps crashing when ever I try to scan Zombie Diary I removed Zombie World War because it showed 13 infections/viruses which was great even if I had to sacrifice one of my best games because my tablets and phone seems to be running/performing better with the apps I removed thanks to Virus total KevinNRosa Dededo, Guam Familia Bittut/Kadi/Robot would give app 5 stars if it stopped crashing

I've used this service/website for years on PC, and having it now scan apks as well is fantastic. And, user reporting thru the user community is a great way to build up a consensus on the validity of scan results. However, uploading an apk results in the message 0 of 0 antivirus vendors detected this application.

Please add detected/total counter to the app list and please add proper error handling as it crashes on a regular basis.

w/ur help i finally confirmed&caught the culprits responsible for my tablet &antivirus's strange, stranger, strangest degrading performance.At premium antivirus it went undetected,as so a few more popular ones.Now i know why my spyware remover suddenly always FC Or why my screen/bluetooth/wifi come alive on its own.why gallery is at constant high cpu usage.why there are shadow apps that cannot be uninstalled &force closed but has data and cache. TROJANS. Fvcking trojans frm apps w/malware here @google play.

Scanning for the very first time was decently fast. All scans afterward were extremely fast fast, around 10 seconds or less. However, when viewing the results, the app crashes many times. Please fix it!

Last update was almost 2 years ago. Hence the constant crashes. Suggestion to the devs: I'm sure people would be willing to pay a buck or 2 for a working version. Would be a shame for such a good app to be abandoned.

It flags some stuff as malware that I am not sure is malware. Like AirDroid. I understand that AirDroid has scary permissions and that there is an exploit that uses AirDroid . But this AV straight up declares it to be a trojan. The same with Moonreader+. I am skeptical.

I love this app it's a great way to get a second opinion security scan for your installed applications, but don't be confused this is not an antivirus but it will let you know if it finds any suspicious apps. Although I do have one complaint it needs update ASAP because unlike the website the VirusTotal application is unable to upload anything beyond 32 MBs and currently the VirusTotal website allows you to upload files 64MBs in size. So for right now I can only give a rating of 3 stars. Please update :-)

Company bought by Google several years ago. App is still mediocre in features. I can list a few simple features that would make it a little better without being its own real-time scanning engine... It just needs some improvement

Please add remember filters options detected, clean, unrate. Option to omit notification scaned.

Really? Come on. Update the app. Get it working again. Add it as built in advanced security on Android m or something.

The UI sucks, it doesn't list all locally installed apps, view full info URL leads to a error 403 page. This app begs for an update
