Too bad you can't rate an app with zero stars! Worst airline app ever, simply does not work. Can't check in, can't do anything with it, totally, 100% useless! But, won't matter soon enough Alaska air's fantastic app will cover all these flights eventually.

I still can't check in with this, I have to use my computer. Puts up "unknown error" all the time. When I have checked in on my computer the app shows everything OK, so I guess it's partly useful.

No dependable when it comes to having boarding pass. App stopped working when I was about to board. Had to ask the agent to print me a boarding pass. So disappointed.

App would not remember the flight after i checked in so I kept having to re enter my confirmation number to get my boarding pass. Really annoying.

I've had to reenter my flight info three times in the last hour. Literally all I need this app to do is give me a boarding pass

if flight delayed, the boarding pass will disappear somehow. you can't see the boardingpass. no history flight can be find in your app.

BROKEN will show you a window seat and instead have you in a middle seat

Why would I want an airline app? Just let me view my boarding pass in a browser like every other airline.

The latest update prior to 10/5 does not save upcoming flights anymore!! Very frustrating. Please fix it.

The app is useless. It's slower to log in than using the site. But most importantly, and the entire point of having an app, is it doesn't save your info (and especially your boarding pass) offline, so you can bring it up even if you connection is off or slow. I'm better off with email, which is sad.

Features are fine. But the signing in process take way too long for any airport use case, just try it. The product manager should be fired for this

Every single time I use this app it doesn't work for some reason and I have to spend 30-45 minutes on hold with Alaska customer service to fix it. The Virgin app also never asks for my TSA pre check number when I book a flight through Alaska. I have to call in every time to get it added, and it usually doesn't work, so I have to call in again, that call gets handed to a Virgin person, and another 30 minutes to by. All to save 20 minutes at the airport. Very much looking forward to Alaska's absorption of Virgin and removing this dysfunctional, time/soul-sucking app.

It loses all history every time the app is killed. It's slow and unreliable much like the airline flying to and from sfo

Dear Alaska Airlines and Virgin America. This app is a failure and the platforms do not communicate. Getting sent between apps to find a boarding pass that does not exist on either app is wasting my time. I expect this to be resolved shortly.

Tried this app after booking Alaska ticket operated by Virgin. Let's hope they adopt the Alaska app asap,this is awful. One flight, checked in, "Unknown Error". Alaska app manages multiple flights, flight changes, upgrades, seats, and never had an error in the years I've used it.

Fine when it works, but get an "unexpected error" really frequently making it untrustworthy and frustrating. Error occurs regardless of connection strength or using on my home wifi.

This app requires internet connection, unlike every other airline app one ever used to store electronic boarding passes. I had to reload boarding passes on bad airport WiFi twice: to drop bags and to get through security. Massive hassle, and unnecessary drain on my data.

Failure to launch - big promises that don't deliver. Like so many others, the app does not log you in. Last time I was able to use it, it did not store information.

App doesn't actually work. On final page of check-in flow, it has an error and a telephone number to call. Website works fine.

I can never check in with the app, it goes through the entire process and tells me I need to call. It works fine on the website

This app is the worst airline app available. It doesn't persist boarding passes or, seemingly, itineraries. It logs out repeatedly and is horrendously slow. Several times now, I've gone to board only to have to leave the line and get a paper copy due to the apps failure.

Tried to enter reservation 3x. Didn't take. Not okay

Easy and cool

Very clunky. The interface promises a level of efficiency it can't deliver. Also unable to sign up for the Elevate program through the app. Was told to call 877flyvirgin and did so. After listening to a very silly ad for Elevate...dude, I was sold you don't need to repeat the pitch...i was connected to a ticket sales rep who had no idea how to help. Very, very irritating.

App loses my flight every time I close out. I have to do "Find My Flight" every time. This is with me supposedly signed in to the app/Elevate account.

Won't even sign in. Useless.

IT WILL NOT OPEN!!!!

I have to log reservation number and name into app to find upcoming flight info. My other apps for other airlines just pull this info up w/o doing this. Also, print your boarding pass, the app decided it couldn't pull up my pass as the flight started to board. I could see it then an error message would come up blocking it. I rebooted my phone but it wasn't a phone issue. The app is not reliable.

I can check in easily and see my boarding pass with this app. What are all the 1-star reviewers expecting from it? A USS Enterprise replicator that fabricates free Starbucks? An amendment against lunatics in the Oval Office? World peace?

Update May 2017: boarding pass now works but check-in process broken - IF it only shows middle and aisle seats DO NOT proceed it will not allocate a seat and you will be stuck in purgatory. Go use a laptop. Old: Can't get boarding pass to display still just like everyone else. Gets two stars for quick approach to booking and access to elevate status when on Alaska airlines. Please fix this, it's been going on for months.

Crashes and doesn't keep flight info. All other airline apps know my flights. Virgin doesn't keep anything. Every time I open it I have to put in my last name and reservation number. On every screen I get some kind of error. Maybe Alaska will clean this garbage up.

Horrible. I have to put in my confirmation number every time to access my reservations. Not even United makes you do that. Hope Alaska fixes it. Their app is quite good.
