Cloud Copy for Google Drive for Android
Not working for folder upload..
Don't bother with this or their other useless app file explorer 4 Google drive. Update: I emailed them and they gave me a lame "fix." It didn't work and after waiting days for a response I am about to give up. READ THIS: I found an app that will upload a folder to google drive. FX file explorer. Users get a 7 day trial of the plus version and I will gladly pay the $2.99 when the trial expires. I wasted $1.27 on this piece of crap. The dev wouldn't dare give anyone a free trial.
You would think allowing it permission once would be enough, but it keeps stopping the transfer asking for permission from Google drive. Otherwise it works great.
It gives me an error when downloading to external sd card. Works fine otherwise. Please fix so we can download to sd card!
I needed an addon to google drive that would allow me to backup folders off my sd card to move them to a nexus 5 without an sd card slot. I have no pc to do this via usb so google cloud looked like my best option. I purchased this full version and went to work over broadband wifi. Within minutes of backing up my music it started disconnecting from google drive. For every 1 song it uploads 3 will fail and require me to manually reconnect. Huge waste of time and money as you have to baby sit the app.

I figured the one review here was worth the $1.27 risk. Oh well they got my money now. I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to get files from my camera folder to Google Drive. I managed to locate the files, select them and "add to queue." So first, you have to do this one file at a time, there doesn't appear to be any way to select multiple files. Anyway, so here these files sit "in the queue" and nothing is happening... I've never had to go looking for how to operate a simple app so the fact that I have to is an indication of a poor U/I. I'd check out one of the other similar apps first, which is where I'm headed now...
Sorted my original issue. Now it works
Can now easily move files between my tablet and Google Drive. Now I'm in charge of the download location, not Google!
