App constantly crashes or logs me out! What's the point of using the camera if the app doesn't work.

This app rarely works. I wasn't able to log in for months because it wouldn't accept my password which worked fine on my browser. After that was fixed for a couple weeks, now I get locked out because of some connection timeout while I'm trying to log in. When I am logged in the swipe to control the camera barely works. What is the point of having a camera if you can never look at it?

Works great. We have 3 cameras and we now have no problems since the people at tech support helped us out.

This app is terrible, what is the point of buying this camera if I can't see it

decent app after the update, quality camera as well, very good built quality and superb image quality, coming from a xiaomi home cam and hikvision user. will recommended this brand for sure

Camera is good, but the app isn't logging in at all.

Still Needs Improvement. Used to be good in low light while set to Day. A few updates ago changed that. Now low light in Day is pretty much total darkness. Would like ability to set length of record time. Anything over 10 minutes is too long.

Warning: i saw my cam was remotely rotated a bit by someone. I'm the only person have access to it. It looks like big brother is watching! CP1 1080p camera. The specification doesn’t indicate the camera has a fan. When monitoring the sound, the fan noise is annoying. App has too many bugs. 1: The time of the thumbnails is not correct. 2: Cannot display user defined camera names in the local search list first time searched. 3: Cannot delete multiple recorded video and images. 4: Cannot download multiple recorded video and images. 5: Windows cannot read the micro sd card and will ask for formatting. 6: Cannot fast forward playback on recorded video. 7: When pause recorded video during playback, the screen goes back to the beginning. 8: Need both download and delete buttons on the playback. 8: Connection errors pop up after playing a couple of video each time. 9: Cannot remember all settings. 10: Cannot view multiple cameras live in one screen. 11: Need option to turn off lights.12: The setting Turn Alert Off disables motion detection despite detection is enabled. 13: Schedule alerting doesn’t work. 14: No more space to input here...

Cannot use the talk option..received no help from customer service...i tried to do the set up as advised and it never worked...for the first week the function worked then would get a message about talk and how to set it up..never worked..email and called service for help and never re river s y assistance

This last update I lost the movement alarm and the auto recording when movement is detected! I need these options because people from my apartment complex keep coming in without notice. Fix this!

Impossible to recover my forgotten password. Every time I go to vacation and set up the video camera and it never worked correctly. This app and camera are useless. I'm giving up... Bye

Extreme delay since the most recent update.

Not good

Somehow the software lost "mask" function, so I can't use it to set where my camera should be triggered to record. Neither camera is recording right now. Live view works, so I can see someone left a glass on the patio table, but I can't see who or when! The picture is remarkably clear, and I can pan around just fine. But no recording? Uh-uh.

Developers, please 1) add a feature to delete more than one snapshot at a time, 2) allow user to define length of video recording once motion detection occurs, 3) snapshots occur even when that motion detection feature is turned off (only video recording is selected). I am having a difficult time getting the motion sensitivity to work. Seems to function differently based on lighting in the room. Camera clarity and night vision is spectacular.

App seems to be more stable with new updates. I also changed the wifi channel on my wireless router and it has improved the signal for my outside cam. For people having issues make sure you update each camera and restart when prompted. Keep up the good work!

A few days ago the app stopped being able to stream the live video! It seems to be getting worse amd worse, not better! At this rate it will be completely worthless in a few "upgrades." The latest update seems to hang up more than the older one. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

recently I can't open the live vedio in full screen, always indicate zero KB, please i need help if any body know the reason...

This app and camera are rubbish. Nothing but problems regardless of updates. Camera is far from dependable.

Update 5-1-2017 They get one thing corrected then several other issues occur! The motion alert recording times are totally out of sync on the bottom versus what you see on the top of the playing screen. This makes it very difficult to find the accurate date and time to view a particular motion alert recording on the Android version. When you try to fast forward it was taking me to a completely different date and time recording!! Arghh!!! I have sent several screenshots of the issue and they told me to delete the app and reinstall it, which I've done several times to no avail. It does show the appropriate times and dates on my iPad. 7-19-2016 It looks like Vimtag finally listened and fixed the issues I have been complaining about for months. There is still room for improvement, but it is much better than it was! Old comments: Frequent bugs, unstable playback of videos. They need to test the "upgrades" before making them available. Causes more problems with things that used to work! It WAS great to be able to check on our cat & home while on vacation last year..but now the app is terrible!

Really only good for live view. Other features work, but not very efficient.

The camera is online but the app does not stream videos. I am having to log into the desktop site to see the video. Whats the point of having the app then?

Latest version still has issues regarding the time zone being incorrect.

Incorrect, obtrusive, and pointless error message about my device's timezone not matching the camera timezone keeps coming up. This is clearly a bug, please fix. I have to tap the thumbnail for my one camera every single time I open the app. I would greatly prefer the ability to open the app and automatically play my single (or favorite) cam. Otherwise app is working well.

After update, time zone errors! Common complaint. Was going to buy another one but think I'm going to look for different product unless this error is fixed soon.

This product has tons of issues. I mean what are you guys doing all day? Time Zone issues? Really? Please work on the local web interface at least... Why does the SD card have a proprietary filesystem? Just stop everything your doing and work on your existing products. Help us help you

Slow loading thumbnails of captures on sd card I've wireless. It should load thumbnails of section you quickly scroll down to (in my opinion) instead of waiting minutes for each thumbnail in between. Also, has no pause or rewind unless you are viewing a capture. Also can not capture anything you see, it must already be capturing as setup in another screen. Also can not download captures over wireless to the app, so they will get deleted from the cameras sd card when it's memory requires it to do so.

Anything wrong with time zones. After change of summer /winter time..

Hard time login in on my mi max phone. Ipad no problem. Very frustrating when U need to check while on the road

App is terrible, but "kinda" does the job. Pros - Can use to control camera, live feed, and talk through Cons - Notifications seem to have two settings. On means you get messages all the time, even when you don't want them, and the scheduling tools have no control. e.g. I've set for notifications whilst I'm at work, but they trigger when I'm home. The only way to turn them off is to completely disable notifications. The Home / Out mode makes no sense, as it still notifies when I'm Home regardless of me telling it not to The help guides are completely useless, and refer to actions / menus that the app doesn't have. The language used on the official help site is next to useless gibberish. All I want is the ability to control when I receive notifications, and the ability to record when motion activated, but not always get a message on my phone. The app won't send me any more motion notifications ,I called technical support 3 times they were not very kind , my issue was not fixed the update made it worse .

Constant crashes in the middle of it.. Great hardware. The software is the sore spot, please put in better efforts..
