VR Player FREE is our consumer version of our more powerful and customizable VR Player PRO media player app for high definition VR video playback, immersive media experiences, and even 360° LIVE streams.
Now, you can see what it is like to use your phone as an HD virtual reality headset OR move your phone around without a headset like holding a window into another world.

- Support 2D/3D photos and videos
- Supported formats: mono, side-by-side, over/under
- Read local files or call up remote URL's

Available projection geometries:

We value your privacy and security, so we want to be very clear on the permissions the app asks for on install.
Permissions:
• Take pictures and videos - For camera access in "See-Thru Mode"
• Record audio - For voice command access and accuracy. No audio gets saved or sent to us.
• Approximate location - Better accuracy of orientation and position inside of VR
• Modify or delete contents from SD card; read contents of SD card - For your file navigation access
• Find accounts on the device - To give you better and easier navigation access to your content storage locations
• Control near field communication - NFC is for detecting Google cardboard presets when NFC tag is in the HMD.
• Access Bluetooth settings / Pair with Bluetooth devices - For external bluetooth device control
• Control vibration, prevent phone from sleeping - So it doesn't interrupt your experiences.
VR Player FREE is based on the open source project that started it all. This Android FREE version gives you a taste of the power of VR Player desktop and PRO app in the palm of your hand with limited customization of experience. Note that some of the PC features are not supported yet.

Seems good when it works. However the gamepad controls only seem to work 5% of the time, the rest of the time either doing nothing or opening an advert in chrome. Tired the pro version to see if those issues went away but that version just crashed on startup every time.

This is a wonderful app. Although it supports internal storage, if it could provide reading from external USB drive, it would beat all the apps. 360 degree videos are large files internal storage are usually full. Please add this feature and I am sure a lot people would even buy the app if included.

I really like the app. It's the only one I found working with cubic 12x1 maps in a correct way! :) Although the quality is terrible when it comes to 3d cubic mapping, the image is completely blurred, and the stitches are visible. Is there any trick to overcome it? Any max image resolution?

Gyro works best in this app. Very responsive. I wish to buy premium but I have a question: I have a very hires panorama. The resolution is very low. My image has a certainly higher resolution. I wonder if it is only a limitation of the free version. Can you confirm?

This is a good vr player i wver used. Also i have a suggestion can we stop the gyro sensor, i want the video stable because on every movement i have to recenter the video. Thank you and i am looking forward for your reply.

Screen too wide, feels like I am at a movie in the front row. Good picture quality most of the times but the screen won't stay still at all.

Really like the app. Can you please add mouse as one of the input controllers. One more suggestion, please include seconds instead of percentage for skip time/ seek position feature. It would be of great help. Thanx!!!
