Music Sight Reading for Android
I can no longer access the control panel to change its settings. Needs updating. Good program if and when that is fixed. Otherwise broken.
I love this app for its simplicity and ease of use. However, I recently bought a new device that does not have a standalone menu/settings button, and I cannot change anything (I only want to learn the treble cleff as I play guitar)
Its awsome buttttt. Its superrrr confusing at first
This app works really well. Helped me get even more comfy with sight reading. I just wish the statistics feature worked...
The answer for E is wrong and the correct answer is F. There should also be a setting to do only one clef.
My time was at 2 min and then I practice now my time is 50 sec in just 3 days
Does what the app is titled to do, would be nice if it played a music instrument sound with the correct note.
Must-Have sheet music training for EVERY serious beginner!
Almost perfect. Why is statistics unavailable? Plus a description to explain how to access the options menu would have been nice. On my Android you have to touch your phones option 'button' to access settings to change how you practice. The app is free, so you really can not complain. Before I found this, I made homemade flash cards and it took forever. This is a Godsend.
Super simple, clean design. Maybe the UI could be more modern-ish, but it's not really needed. It's got everything, can pick the clefs you want to be tested in (can do several at once-pick from treble, bass, alto and tenor) , do-re-mi/C-D-E option, difficulty level, amount of notes asked in practice and in quiz, and a bit more. Quick, easy, and good everyday practice. BUT, hopefully stats will work soon. Accidentals&Key signatures would be nice, but not absolutely necessary.
I would like if the notes could be move horizontaly as we read them when we play. Aplication like this is Jalmus for windows. Thanks a lot.
Are there any more advanced versions of this app? I noticed in the app a selection called statistics which is not operating on my s4.
how do you open the settings on newer android systems? I have no menu button.
Once you have the basic knowledge of what notes are where on the staff notation system this app is useful to improve speed of reading the notes... it's great for beginners to staff notation
Well suited for music theory 101. Though, when will "Statistics" be developed?
When practicing notes, should be given the option to choose just treble or just bass (not mixed)
for the zero permissions! ;) but do the statistics become available after a certain number of quizzes...?
It has really helped me with learning bass clef.
I love it, it's easy, and practice makes perfect isn't it?
Helo frendz ! Meuzik iz not a RoCkEt science.every one can learn.
The only thing that would make this better, which would make it the BEST app for learning notes for treble and bass, would be to ADD SOUND of the NOTES. Pretty please with a cherry on top.
I would like a toggle option to add sound to notes (no sound now)
Extremely helpful in training yourself. However, I can't find out how to change the settings e.g. bass/treble cleff etc, like the 3 screenshot. I'm using the app on an Samsung S5. Any help please?
It would be much better if a piano keyboard was displayed on screen and if it had midi support.
It NEED'S the option to disable vibration, I have it turned off at all times because it's an unnecaserry drain on my battery and quite frankly it's annoying
Did not like it.
I don't have a clue. Good for drilling if you haven't forgotten where all the notes are completely.
I play the violin, and this really helps if you've lost touch with sheet music
Simple awesome and highly recommended
If you would add sound, and the opposite option it will be Great
This app has a beautifully minimalistic design but it makes no sacrifices. You choose your difficulty level and increase it as you improve. Lots of customization, too. And, most importantly, this app is really helping me improve my sight reading! :D
Does everything required, absolutely. Exactly the tool I need to replace a bunch of paper cards I am currently using to practice. This tool is very simple to use. Of course, it assumes that you have at least some remote understanding about the music notation. As a software developer I will also enjoy possibility to see the source code.
Runs smooth and no special permission :)
Must-Have sheet music training for EVERY serious beginner!
I thought this app was supposed to actually teach what the notes are. Guessing until the correct note is picked doesn't help someone with no prior knowledge.
Would rather see a keyboard without the notes displayed to simultaneously help improve sight reading and also actual placement of each note on a keyboard. That could be an advanced level pehaps. Otherwise good practice to read notes.
Just needs the statistic to be working
Great app for learning to read music!
Its actually kinda fun, reminds me of don't touch the white tiles.

Only suggestion is to maybe have a quiz with multiple notes say 3, because one needs to get used to reading several notes at a time.
