1) Shows only kana and not kanji. Japanese use Kanji, not just only kana. 2) Doesn't give meaning/translation of words in questions. Gives translation of answers, but user may come across words they don't know in the questions.

There is no option to practice kanji nor are kanji used at all in the app making it pretty uselss
