Please read the reviews and make the app usable. It's very slow and unusable for this purpose. I threw out money for Vitocom and got this nonsense from Germany.

Very disappointed of Viessmann software. The problem is how everything is conceived from start. You cannot connect your own device direct, you have to connect to Viessmann website, which is M$ based, not the fastest or most solid web server you can have. So the M$ server queries your device to get data, and it takes ages. I would like the option to query my own device directly on my LAN, or VPN, if I want to reach it from outside. Their support is obviously not trained on computer stuff, so when I called them to fix the installation, I couldn't get through the problem. Talking about DHCP or DNS was greek to them. The Vitocom 100 was faulty and replaced. Given the high standard of the brand, the software looks very amateurish. Things do not get better when you control the system through their website. The data shown is not current, you have to refresh it clicking on a very small button. At first, it's confusing. It takes ages to refresh. The options are limited, and you need to go through many steps to do simple things. If power goes out, the clock will show a wrong time/date and false settings. I would not recommend Viessmann if you want to control your heating system via pc.

I use the application for one year with more or less success. There were few problems now and then but the general impression was positive. However, recently the application started behaving slowly, especially when you ask to refresh the status. Something is wrong there and should be fixed!

Slow sync in 21st century, I would expect better from German engineers, besides that app shows one thing and at home situation is completely different. Imagine surprise when coming back home from vacations and there is 8 C degrees. Viessmann. You suck!

Unbelievably slow to sync! How hard can it be to make this go fast? I cant imaging a sync to need more than 1kB of data. This shouldn't take 3 minutes on a 4G+ line!

Unstable and slow .

Very disappointing app and company attitude to the app and it's issues. I’ve spent a very large amount of money on a boiler and this control system and am ignored by the developers and directed to the UK support company who are unable to provide any accurate time frame for mods to the software including the next release date of their code. Massively un-professional approach to the whole project and such a pity from a German company whom one would expect better from. Most irritating aspect is always being ignored by them - don't bother emailing them as they never reply !

My local heating system must be controlled by distant server. It's very slow to work with this app until it connects or refreshes.

Very easy to use and responsive. It is necessary to set it up on the website and register the units and network module . After that it is faultless. Running on HTC One.

verstehe nicht warum das app mehr als eine minute für update benötigt... ist kein raum sensor installiert könnte doch anstatt 70°, die aktuelle vorgegebene raum soll temparatur angezeigt werden..

also if no room sensor is connected, it shows always 70°.. better will be soll room temp, if no room sensor is available

Very desipointed , does not do anything what was on the description. Does not work on HTC desire 601. Crap app . Don't bother because even the web site is crap. Went through all the hassle of registering to only find out it does not work.

5 stars for adding the force update button! Nevertheless, the PC web access stays necessary for full functionality and command of your Viessmann heating device. But the phone/tablet application makes a good remote control out of the device on which you install it.

Force update button is recommended. Developer please do something.....! :)

Slow refresh, no indication that says whether the status shown is the actual status or not. Party and Economy mode buttons are missing although they are supported by the heating system (room controller). Could be some system setting but I'm getting zero response from their support. It does work and it's a lot easier using the app to set the timers so 3 stars looks fair to me. BTW: same remarks for the IOS version. Update: found this on the Viessmann website: Wall mounted boilers Vitodens 200 with Vitotronic 200 HO1* / HO1A* control unit * For heat generators with these controls the ‘Party / Economy’ mode function are not available on the Vitotrol App That explains - this sucks - those are exactly the buttons you want to use most of the time: switching to Economy if you forgot when leaving the house and switching to party mode if you get home early ...
