Videostream Chromecast: Mobile

Overall like the app. Satisfies a need for interaction between my computer network and my media devices. Would get a full 5 if the functionality improved and playlist options were integrated in the mobile app.

Used to be a great app but there's a lot of buffering in the latest version (every 4 minutes or so) , which makes it unusable

I paid for lifetime subscription for this app.. was working great for me. Now it no longer finds recently added movie files.

I used to love this app when it came out but now it's expensive and very rarely works....what happened with these people?

Waste of time. Difficult to understand the purpose of this app since it never worked.

Just bought premium because I love you guys! Great app, best file steamer ever. Keep up the great work, you guys rock. Don't listen to some of those other haters maybe they should switch to Linux. Only issue I have had is a buffering problem on certain file formats, but it is probably my fault from too much load on my network.

Works as advertised, and it's from Canada.

Great app, however I initially purchased Videostream for Windows and then when I went to dl for my phone (same Gmail acct) I was prompted to purchase again. I I assumed that making one purchase for the lifetime license would also grant me the same access for the mobile app. I have since sent two emails over with no response.

Simple and easy to use. Attach Chromecast to your TV HDMI port. Launce video stream on your PC and do the rest from your phone. Watch almost any format video that will play on your computer to Chromecast. It eliminates the need to convert all videos to MP4. I buy very few applications and the free app is good but it works so good I bought the application as a thank you developers for making my viewing a hassle free pleasure!

The only way to get playlist support is by purchasing premium for $35. They constantly have a "sale" price of $25, showing that obviously no one buys it. $25 for playlist support and other features that are useless. Please make it a reasonable price. I'll buy it for a reasonable price, but for $25 you will get nothing. Please get your head out of your butts.

Turned off push notifications but am still getting their ads.

Bought it over a year ago with my Chromecast and I've been happy ever since. Requires good WiFi connectivity so leave your laptop next to router if you have any issues ;)

Works, but annoying push notification advertisements for premium can only be disabled by blocking all notifications from the app through Android system permissions which reduces app functionality.

This is a really useful app. It adds a lot of value to my Chromecast because now I can stream video from my media server directly to my Chromecasts without having to use separate DLNA devices.

buffering every 30 sec. No use for it as it's more worth using a usb stick. 1000mb internet

App price on sale in dollars 24 ish...(€20) Actuall app price in euro 26 The feeling of getting ripped off....priceless Oh and when contacted about it..no reply

Not interested in needing a computer for the app to work. This isn't 2005. Mobile is the future. Make a standalone app.

Needs to be able to connect with playlists that were created on desktop. Otherwise solid app.

This app used to be so good that I paid for a lifetime subscription. It no longer works at all. Don't waste your time with this.

I've tried multiple streaming options to cast to chromecast. This is by far the easiest AND it actually works like it's supposed to without all the hassle of secondary servers, tons of setup, blah blah blah. Great job devs. Keep up the good work!

Very simple to use and setup. No annoying ads in any way for the free version. I was so satisfied i even bought the permanent premium when it was on sale. They have a sale quite often if you keep your eye on it, and it is very reasonably priced then. I've bought far more useless​ shite for more money than that.

Needs work. Used to stream without buffering issues. Now stops every few minutes to buffer. Really annoying.

After I pause, the app auto plays a few minutes later, can't pause and leave room for a few unless you want to come back to see the end of the movie!

Love the functionality and ease of use. Occasional mishaps but they could be caused by other sources (PC, Chromecast, home network)
