VictorOps for Android
I don't get any notifications at all from the app on my Nexus 4. Every setting is set to alert both in phone settings and victorops settings
So far this has worked reliably well. We use this as a first line of alert and go through all resolution and ACK on the site. It would be great if there was a better on-call calendar or quick way to see other current on-call members. I can't see at a glance who is on-call for all the other teams we've hooked in.
This is a great app and with the inclusion of the tabs to organize the alerts made it even better. I only wish it would be a little more responsive when first opening. It is a little sluggish due to I think authenticating.
Amazing app
Works great, didn't go down during the S3 outage unlike Pagerduty
Well, its cheaper than pager duty, but I personally prefer pager duty. But my current company use this. Works ok
The idea is great but the execution is terrible. When an incident occurs you get a push notification, which works OK. Then you tap on it and it opens the app, but the incident doesn't show up there. There is no way to force it to refresh and there are no visual queues that it is doing anything. I often have to sign in through the browser to actually see incidents. It's been this way since day one.
This app has helped my team be significantly more successful. Our pages used to be scattered and chaotic, VictorOps has given us a platform to converge these alerts. The app extends the usefulness, making monitoring easy and easy to spring into action when needed.
I don't see any options for it.
As I get more experience with it I can give more accurate feedback.
Try it
Will not stop bugging me for permission to read my files. No means no.
I had an old version and new one rocks! it is awesome to filter contacts by team an loved the new button that tells you when are you scheduled to be on-call! Thanks guys, you are doing a great job!
It's bad enough that the UI is terrible, but do you HAVE to keep demanding that I rate your app seemingly every time I start it up? (the last three times I started it up, it threw up the "rate me" window, which is getting in my way of doing ACTUAL WORK.
Recently my team members from symantec are not able to ACK alerts from desktop especially from Windows7/8 any browser it's getting stuck please fix this
Takes a little configuration but does the task.
VictorOps is the best tool I've ever used for incident management and on call rotation. The app does its job very well and help teams to communicate easier and faster. Really appreciate to use it.
Design is lacking, old, and needs a face lifting. Confusing interface. When being mentioned in an incident, there is no link to the incident. Chat window is hidden. Logout button is misleading. In short, feels like the app hasn't been worked on for a very long time.
I have override volume setup. And i keep low volumes for notification and media. Whenever i get an alert all volumes are set to high. I have to restore the volumes. Also, back button does not work in most cases.
A few weeks into actual use and so far so good.
Exceedingly troublesome application
I love VictorOps for making my on-call days and nights easier and quieter!
No filtering of policies or alert policies at our growing company with many escalation policies, mistaken and irrelevant notifications
Essential, don't think there is anything better
NICE
Still immature
Thanks for fixing the keyboard issue! 5 stars! Great for monitoring as well as intra-team communication. Easy to use UI.
This is a great app and with the inclusion of the tabs to organize the alerts made it even better. I only wish it would be a little more responsive when first opening. It is a little sluggish due to I think authenticating.
Using Google keyboard, when typing messages it doesn't insert spaces between words or show suggested words. I don't have this problem with other apps.
Press the "Personal Summary" button and the app crashes, on lollipop
Changing my review to five stars now that there are separate incident tabs.
NICE
For me, there are only a few minor tweaks and feature additions before this thing gets five glorious stars. The devs are responsive (eg: added follow the sun pretty quickly) so it shouldn't take long!
Awesome!
Pretty much it the work flow is really nice
