Cannot connect to my camera with the android app, have to use an iphone to connect.

Updated firmware, but there is still no Language selection / voice option for the app, user have to change the phone's native OS ( iOS/Android) in order to switch the driving assist voice prompt. Please do not assume your user demographics, also, additional language warning assistance will be nice. Russian, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, French languages would be nice. Now it is stuck at English and Chinese only.... that's minus 1 star.

I am not able to connect the cam to my HTC one with Andorid 4.4.2. It seems a well known problem for all android system. Can you please fix the issue with software/ firmware update asap? It is frustrating as I bought this cam because of the WiFi function. But it doesn't work now. :( . For other android users, I recommend you not to buy this cam until they have a fix for this problem.

Never worked properly for me. Even when my phone was right next to the WF1 dashcam I couldn't get a reliable connection. As a result I've had to scrap my Vicovation WF1 dashcam. The device can't work without the app as the dashcam doesn't have a built-in viewer.

I wish I had read these reviews before I bought this dash cam. The app works ok for setting up the camera, but it's impossible to use for viewing videos. On the rare occasions that the wifi doesn't disconnect, there's so much buffering in the video that eventually I just give up. It's quicker to take out the micro sd card, put it in my PC and watch it on there!

Keeps disconnecting from camera. Can't save videos, can't play videos more than a few seconds.

Galaxy S4. Won't save videos, won't play videos, won't even stay connected . have followed vico staff instructions, no help. RUBBISH. same with pushcam. ZERO STARS…. Upgraded to S5. Still won't save or play videos properly. Sometimes saves to 25% then "failed to save". Won't stay connected.. Is this EVER going to be addressed????

Galaxy S3. Vico app stopped working on my phone.

Please fix it, this is annoying and fustrating.

The app is actually ok, but the bloody thing just can't stay connected to WIFI even though it has a strong signal. It takes about 5 minutes to watch a 1 minute video. It laggs a lot and just makes it a pain in the butt to use. Get the camera with the screen. I wasted my money.

(Galaxy S3, android v4.3) ... After installing the new firmware update (FW v1.62), I can now download and play videos from my WF1 with the VicoVation app 2.02. Also, connecting to the WF1 via Wifi is now pretty quick and it seems to stay connected much better. … But, downloading a video to my phone is still slow, and it freezes occasionally, but it gets the job done. ... Since it's improved I'll change my rating from 1 star to 3.

Works fine on Note 3 running kit kat 4.4.2

Doesn't do what we were led to believe,won't hold WiFi, can't change settings and has now stopped doing anything.Will be asking for a refund.

I contacted VicoVation service about the “unstable Wi-Fi connection” and this is a portion of the reply I received. ...... “The unstable connection between WF1 and your Samsung shall be the problem of Android system. If you test with iOS system, the connect should work well. This information will be passed to our engineer team and we will improve this issue by VicoViewer App update.” ...... I've had my WF1 for 5 weeks now in that time VicoVation has updated the Vico app once and the camera's FW twice. … They seem to be constantly improving their product so hopefully they will update this app again soon and make a good camera better.

After last update refuse to connect through wifi, plus correct this issue

The app is actually ok, but the bloody thing just can't stay connected to WIFI even though it has a strong signal. It takes about 5 minutes to watch a 1 minute video. It laggs a lot and just makes it a pain in the butt to use. Get the camera with the screen.

Connect flawlessly with the updated firmware 1.47. Streaming in actual speed during playback of videos with no lag.

Works perfectly with the wf1.

I have android 4.2 and the app stay at searching for camera, it work on ipod touch. This camera is a p.o.s

Okay so I had a bumpy start in the beginning. Had problems with the Sandisk memory card (which came free with the dash cam), always said memory card error. I format it, tested the SD card on my phone to make sure it works but in the end I had the same problem. I also could never connect well to the camera. Wifi disconnects all the time. I was about to give up but I thought I'll give this another chance. So I decided to buy a new Samsung micro SD. Guess what? It worked like a charm. No problems ever since!

Is nobody able to make the necessary update for people on KitKat ? , I'll gonna sell, asap!

Application crashes on launch, rooted Nexus 5. Unusable until fixed.
