Works with my Galaxy S6, (after figuring out how to get the menu button) 1. to start you need to install the server software from the website. 2. I never got a prompt to set the ip address in the app. Galaxy no longer have a menu button so i wasn't sure how to set it. I figured it out by hooking up a key board with a micro usb adapter. Pressing Ctrl+Esc (the equivalent of pressing a menu button) brought up the settings and I was able to update the ip address. Once configured the app works great and is very responsive! Only 4 stars because the developer should update the app to add a configuration button the UI.
The normal control functions work except for the mouse usage. Crashes the app half the time. Very frustrating when it happens.
First and foremost, this is an old app and the world has moved forward. Thus, finding the "Settings Page" was impossible on my Samsung Tab A ... until I read a review suggesting a keyboard would solve the issue. It did. I connected a bluetooth keyboard and using the CTRL+ESC keys the settings menu button popped up from the bottom of the screen. Even then, it didn't work immediately. In my case the process came to fruition after rebooting both PC and Android. Am I thrilled? Not really. It's ok.
Great when it works, but it force closes on the phone (Moto X) all the time. Same issue with my old Bionic and Galaxy S4.
WMC there is - tried tons of others but this one is simple, small with clear layout of functions... All I need to watch TV... I wish there would be refreshed version with maybe ICS interface.
But the keyboard and mouse feature seem to lock up the app on the pc. Java runtime errors or something. App then needs to restart to get control again.
Works great. Layout for tablets could use an update. Doesn't look as nice on my 10 inch tablet as it does on my phone.
Also did not figure out how to drag. Is it supported?
Really quick response time for any remote, let alone a network remote. All important features work. No bugs that I have found.
Just installed it and works great so far! Been looking for something to use with my Hauppage TV Antenna Card and my Phone, and this does the trick. I'm curious if the power button on myRemote turns off the TV or the Computer though? Can I set it to also control my Visio TV? I didn't see instructions for the TV. Thanks!
Awesome. Don't have to deal with headache of getting ir to work with wmc. Or another remote. Works great!
Does not work all settings correct. Stupid
A bit blurry on my Asus Nexus 7, but works just fine.
Don't waste your time it doesn't do anything if I have to install something to the computer then it is not a remote
It is not very often that I download a free app that works perfectly. Nice!
Took me a bit to realize I had to long press the area to the left of my home button on my Note 4. The settings button is not on the remote screen. Also, others have said the wished it had a pause button....if you push the play button again, it will pause.
This is easy to use and simple. If you could make a layout for larger phones I would rate 5 star.. currently using droid 4 and this app uses only about 2/3 of the screen
MyRemote App works great except that it crashes constantly on my new phone LG Google nexus 5. Using the wonderful mouse tracking function for 15 seconds causes it to crash. Any thoughts / fixes?
This does not work at all! The only button you can even press is the higher volume button, and still it doesn't work. If you liked this, don't now.
I use mmc as a dvr and ran hdmi to my TV in the living room, only downside was going to the computer to pause, ff, choose a show, etc. This app works flawlessly
Perfect for parking my butt on the couch for some WMC love.
Great app. But after switching to my SG5 couldn't get to settings, recently found that if you hold recent app button it pops up. Hope it works on the SG6
great app, works really well in win 7. missing two features that would make this app even better. scrolling through media functionality and letter or word input to get to media quickly
Problems on galaxy nexus... Having issues on galaxy nexus, severe issues. Can't use it at all, everything extremely small so you can't tell what you're pressing, seems to respond to screen presses though? (Edit) disabling force gpu render fixes it...
Its stopped on win 7, java issue, I uninstalled, went to redownload from site, link totally dead, used to work well and fast.
All the WMC buttons plus a trackpad/keyboard. Just what i needed.
Works very well and mouse is good. Green ui ugly and doesn't fill high res display. Ip typed is forgotten if phone sleeps before saving. Overall good.
This is way more fun and easier to use than my wireless mouse. Thank you for the awesome app!! Took minutes to stop. Even works with Netflix app within Media Center :-)
App used to work great but now playing up. The pause button opens windows display options, ffwd brings up some active directory console.
Very easy, functional and hassle free. Exactly what I was after. Will be getting donate version on payday :)
This is so perfect to be true... Simple, efficient, good looking intetface and do its job well
Increase the screen size to support larger screen devices please... In the HTC sensation and it comes to only a bit more than half its size...
Works awesome. Except my desktop was wired via the ethernet cable, so I think that's why the desktop program gave me the wrong ip address to connect to. Used "ipconfig" command line to figure it out. Works like a charm now! Saved me from buying a remote. :-) And using Windows 8.1 professional.
Quick setup, lite software. Would like to see more features like scrolling and better keyboard entry
This is awesome. Dies what it says plus includes a mouse pad. I can browse the Web in bed on my PC across the room. Nice!
Does not work samsung tab
Nice app. I wish I could disable the button that layers the windows and lets you pick which program you want. Because it messes up the computer until it's restarted. The fast forward stops working. Still worth the headache.
Nice and simple remote that does not cause issue with anything else. Would love to see a setting item allowing "disable screen lock" so remote can be immediately accessed.
Didn't work at all..don't waste your time

"Right click the myRemote taskbar icon to find your IP number. Type it into settings. Hit Green Media Center button." Am I missing something? Where is the "settings" option? I've tried every button in the app and besides the mouse button, which brings up a white box you can enter text to, but do nothing with it, none of the buttons actually do anything. If this is the best MCE remote for Android,i really don't want to see the worst
