CastNES - Chromecast Games

The app doesn't work for me. When I try to run a game it says "WI-FI NETWORK IS NOT AVAILABLE". Although it can successfully the "ENJOY THE GAME" image

CAST N.E.S This application has a great concept And it actually works, it would be perfect for Going on a trip going to a hotel IF HAVE A MINI WI-FI BOX to play a little bit of a retro GAMING between your cell phone and a Chromecast stick. Simple package AND SETUP for going to a hotel. Found all my games. I recommend supporting this developer. Into the pursuit of. Concepts like this. Run this on a Samsung S4 with nothing installed ON IT. And stand alone. Connection aka why cell phone and chrome cast only. Keep in mind, your results may vary. On your CELLPHONE The only caveat? Is that it is currently? Slow to respond. The touchscreen buttons. Have a delay to whats going on on the screen. VIA Chromecast even if it's the only thing on the network besides your cell phone.( tested and confirmed.) worst thing that I've had happen. Is it freeze? Up not intended for intense gaming. One improvement I think this application can make is turn on Bluetooth controller support. That way, you can use your own controller in conjunction with your cell phone in. With this application, this may lower the response delay time. And give you a better feel. Instead of just force feedback on the screen. I am hoping to see improvements to this application, including. A better response time, on a high network load .

The app works. However the roms should only be in the downloads folder and the controls are not that responsive (maybe the wifi?).

Very awesome. I felt like a kid again playing the games. My biggest issue is the lag from the controller buttons. Also it would be nice if we could arrange and change size for buttons. It seems to have about a second to a second and half delay when pressing A or B button. Thanks whoever made this. Need other system emulators like this. Thank you.

Kind of a shame, really... Frame rate is poor, virtual controller is laughably bad, there are no settings, and the image scrubber is pulling images from the wrong systems. Kinda shocked this doesn't work better considering you only have to stream a 256x224 resolution... it's not like this is streaming HD, and honestly I get better results streaming a 1080p video to my Cast.

It is really hard to hit the A button and B button at the same time. It would be nice if we could use are Bluetooth controllers with this. Great app almost no lag

Annoying. The app doesn't detect any ROMs on my phone. I've placed them in a dedicated ROM folder as well as in the root directory, but this app just doesn't detect anything. Waste of time.

Casts great but the on screen controller is down right awful!!

Love this concept but unfortunately I can't get it to connect to my chromecast. Tried on two different phones with no luck. Hopefully this bug can be fix

I love this app and it works flawlessly

Was able to cast right away. Just unable to use two buttons at once. Like A and B together to run. Then there's the issue of not being able to jump after running. Slow input or something.

It's good, I can play games on my TV while using my phone as the controller but I can't seem to get super metroid to work. Also your page is confusing and the download links aren't there. If you could just provide a download link for super metroid then I'll be happy.

I love this as a concept but I don't know if the Chromecast is up to the task as far as connection latency. Either way, shut up and take my money!

Works pretty well. A little laggy on my end but it might be my internet.

Nice idea.. little bit lag while playing Mario. I hope it will improve performance in future. Other than that absolutely amazing and easy setup

I love the concept. Streaming is the future and the future is now. However, when I try to cast (tried with multiple Chromecasts) I just get a black screen with only sound.

I can't seem to put ROMs into the app as I have downloaded them and extracted them but the app does not pick them up I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Great concept I can't wait to use this

I like the concept but its not working for me I have a chrome cast and yet there is no picture only sound. Is something wrong?

This app is really great but you guys should really have it so it has Bluetooth controller support that way once we beam it to the Chromecast it can shut the screen off on the phone but we can still be able to play with the controllers

Awful frame rate even on Chromecast Ultra. Latency makes games unplayable, Chromecast is on Ethernet and phone is on 5Ghz WLAN.

It couldn't find my Samsung smart tv which I was 2 feet away from

I would love to try this, but it crashes as soon as it's launched on my Note 3.

Doesn't look like it has controller support but other than that, it works. Wish it supported controller support

Clever idea, but the lag on S7+ makes games unplayable.

This is perfect. Works great with stable WiFi. I hope SNES and N64 emulator will follow soon. Keep up the good work guys

An amazing app! Would easily be 5 star if it wasn't for the lag.
