Chicon7 for Android
Crap
But it seems to be just a web front end. Great if you are the Hyatt and trying get to sell expensive conference wifi day passes but sucks if you are a normal person and you used it to select your sessions and then it fails for lack of internet connection once you are at the con.
If what you want is something that scrolls really slowly, then get this. Otherwise... paper?
More convenient than carrying a program book but soooo slow to scroll. Also needs a scroll bar. Post to Twitter/Facebook feature failed on many tries.
A bit slow but a great effort. Very useful at the con.
It's nice to have the guide in an app and available offline since wifi will probably fail at the show. Performance is a little sluggish on my galaxy s but fine on my s3!
Slow, stalled. Could have done a lot better, missing some features. And designed better. No net coonection at the con also not ideal.
-reskin of the Reno app from last year -still slow, awkward controls: items open when trying to scroll. Needs scroll arrows, bar on the side, SOMETHING -doesn't always remember selections between sessions; keep reselecting items that unselected themselves -no indicator in main listing of which items are already selected, only after opening item -going to a panel desc. from the part. list doesn't show other panelists -flipping between main list and my prog loses day/time +seems to work offline this year.
If you are coming to Chicon, or even if you are just curious, this program is a must have. They have everything, including the site maps. Runs very fast on my tablet running ICS, slower but still reasonable on the older cell phone. Just remember use the back button in the program. The regular back button takes you out of the program.
Usable but very slow. Awkward user interface, does not implement many Android buttons. Really could use ability to go to time as well as day due to slow scrolling.
Great to have all the info. App is hard to find unless you use the link posted on Facebook.
Super laggy on HTC one x.
Not very responsive on my Incredible 2 - I'll stick with paper at this rate.
Always just get this error: The connection to the server was unsuccessful. (file:///android_asset/www/Index.html)
Also get the file not found error detailed in another review. Reinstall didn't help.
Dissapponted Slow, stalled. Could have done a lot better, missing some features. And designed better. No net coonection at the con also not ideal.
