Got this for bus arrival times like the old GoVia app had but even though it asks for location access I get a runtime error every time I tap on More Rides near me. The trip planner just takes you to the mobile via site which has always had problems.

Via has always been a horrible company from the first time I dealt with them as a child till now there always rude from call center rep to driver to supervisor all the way up and all the way back down. Via paints a picture that they are in the best intrest of the riders but insyead witness fights on the bis and police are not called they are rude and only about taking the peoples money; tjey dont let a penny slide they took a week old 31 day monthly pass from my gomobileapp and didnt even respect the fact that I have to go to worl or go places on the upcoming holidays didnt even try to refund me 38.00. My hope is that a bigger transit company overthrows via and GOD is powerful enough to put a bully business in there place, nothing positive has changed in this companys view to serve the public Ive jist witnessed then be a burden to the City of San Antonio.

The route part only takes you to the website. The checkout is just stupid. The $2 minimum.... Are you serious? The regular fare is $1.45 with a transfer.... And since this app is on the Google play store. Then add Google pay as a payment option. This might be the only app on the store without that option. And give a description of what your paying for. If I buy a single fare. Does it start right away or does it start when I get on the bus? I think people might want to know that.

My work phone is an iPhone. When I overuse my personal phone, Samsung Galaxy, I will switch over to my work phone. I installed this app on both phones. Unable to use app regardless if I am Signed Out of the app on my iPhone. Get constant message "Your app has been locked." Cannot sign in or do anything. Uninstalling app from personal phone.

Bad app, typing is slow as hell, keyboard is buggy in the app. And all kinds of no response given errors. Also, very disappointed in the fact the app doesn't have the rider tools the via site has. Instead redirecting you to their mobile site, which is even worse. Paying for the ticket brings up blank screens that take forever to load, and what else, oh it crashes Everytime I try to enter certain details. Nice. Don't even try to tell me it's my internet or apps in the background because I have full serbice gps enabled and no apps are open when this stuff happens. Almost entirely useless, I enjoy the mobile ticketing though a bit late.

Got this only for the trip planner and of course it doesn't seem to ever work for me. Guess I'll have to do it the old fashion way and just collect all the bus routes from a park and ride and just tape them all together and make my own damn map

I have no issues using the app anymore. But, the drivers seem to have a lot of trouble reading the tiny print on whether a ticket is valid or not. And, I have one of those 6 inch phonblet devices. Maybe not have it blink so much and having a way to increase the print would be helpful. I feel sorry for drivers trying to read the ticket info on much smaller phones.

I can't pay for my ticket. I get to the payment section and it goes blank i am not able to add my bank card info. It just shows a blank page! This is suppose.to be easy but it's not. How am i suppose buy tickets if the app doesn't give the page to pay? Very frustrated

By the time it loads the ticket screen I'm already at my destination. I had to buy a pass 8 times already because this app is either "not responding" or way to slow. I'm going to just stick with mouth pass cards because this app is f***ing useless.

I wish I could give this app and Via's trip planner negative stars. They don't deserve one star. Either the trip planner stalls and just spins processing till it times out or it tells you no itineraries exist during rush hours. Don't bother using it you'll only get frustrated and end up settling for a pdf download of a bus route.

I dont like this new app cause i cant view a complete schedule on the bus i would like to see. I sure like the other app better. The planner on this new app gives the wrong information, and when i do call the Via information i am kept on hold for about 10 mins. What would we as customers have to do to get this change to the old Via app?

Absolutely worthless. The bus drivers will look you in the eye as you stand by the bus stop and drive right past you, and don't even arrive at a stop far more often than is acceptable. The app doesn't even work properly, and takes ages to load and crashes constantly for no reason. Seriously, don't waste your money on this. Find another way to get around the city, for your own sake.

This app is a rip off and so is via. I lost money out on this app. I transferred from one phone to the other and lost out 2 days on two seven day passes..and had to pay for more. I went to via to dispute and all they could say was you can only switch from one phone to another once. Which I did. They refused to give me a refund even with receipts. And that's cause I went to the main office to complain

The older version wasn't the best, but it was a lot better than this version. I can't even download a schedule to plan my own trips. I have to rely on Via.

This app provides incorrect bus planner info. I would not trust it's suggestions. It obviously didn't get tested for accuracy before it was released

Excellent app, so cool that VIA created this. Google Maps has always been better for planning trips, but what's great is the digital passes...I don't have to wait for them to come in the mail or go in person to get the pass...I just bought it on the app and it was ready to go. Super convenient.

What's wrong with all these bad reviews this app works very good the trip planner does not work very well but I'm able to use the digital passes everyday no issues before switching to a new phone please make sure you use your old tickets from your old phone please read the frequently asked questions before downloading and using this app pay attention

This app is alright. Sadly my phone, an Alcatel One Touch 3, is not that good and simply opening it can be painfully time consuming. Sometimes I have to delete and reinstall the app just to make it work. I'll blame my phone for all that. Not the app. Thankfully tickets can be recovered after reinstalling the app. Apparently one day I open the app and get a strange error message. After reinstalling the app for at least the third time, my Full Fare 31 Day pass which should still be good for another two weeks is completely lost and cannot be recovered. It's in my account's Order History, but no matter how many times I try to Sync my account at the My Tickets section, my ticket won't appear. The Retrieve Lost Tickets option also doesn't work. I'll just stick to physical tickets from now on. I think with a better phone this app can be very convenient.

The app is not user friendly as far as trying to get to a destination or get a schedule. Google Maps is better to use...all this app does is sell tickets...it does provide a trip planner through a form of a Web browser; if I had a slow phone I could imagine my frustration being worse.

Great app so far. As someone who doesn't usually carry cash on them, this allows me to use a card payment instead. I don't use the trip planner or routes nearby, so I can't say how well that works. But for paying for tickets in advance, I'm very pleased with the app.

I bought a 31 day pass online then I downloaded the app well I can't access my pass because when I go to create an account it tells me to enter valid email address which doesn't make sense because I have a confirmation email from via.. I want my money back!!!!
