La fornace romana di Piazza Mazzini a Massa è un app di realtà aumentata (AR) per visualizzare:

- il modello 3d dei resti della fornace romana
- la ricostruzione della fornace in base ai più recenti studi scientifici
- uno spaccato della fornace con la simulazione del suo funzionamento

Inquadra le immagini che presentano il simbolo del telefonino sul pannello turistico di Piazza Mazzini per visualizzare le ricostruzioni 3D.

Gli scavi archeologici effettuati tra il 2011 e gli inizi del 2012 dalla ditta SeArch, per conto della Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici della Toscana, hanno rinvenuto, sotto la superficie di piazza Mazzini, strutture che suggeriscono la presenza di un articolato quartiere artigianale simile a quello evocato nella ricostruzione.

L'applicazione è stata sviluppata da VHNetwork per conto del Comune di Massa.

The Roman kiln of Piazza Mazzini in Massa is an app augmented reality (AR) to display:

- 3d model of the remains of a Roman kiln
- The reconstruction of the furnace according to the latest scientific studies
- A cross-section of the furnace with the simulation of its operation

Framed images that have the symbol of the phone on the panel tourist Piazza Mazzini to view the 3D reconstructions.

The archaeological excavations carried out between 2011 and early 2012 by the search company, on behalf of the Superintendence for Archaeological Heritage of Tuscany, have found beneath the surface of Piazza Mazzini, structures that suggest the presence of a structured workshop area similar to that evoked in the reconstruction.

The application was developed by VHNetwork on behalf of the municipality of Massa.
