I loaded this to my phone but was unable to use it .. says it requires a user name and password and to go to vessel tracker online to get one .. but can not find how to get one on their site.. was unable to use it ...with my phone .. looks great on the computer ..

One of the best AIS vessel tracker services when talking about coverage. A few major bugs that needs to be resolved ASAP: 1. Loading of the map when you zoom close up - it does not always load the whole map. It loads the vessels but not the entire map, portions of the map are often missing, Gray areas. 2. Scaling of the vessels at close zoom should stop when you zoom all the way in. It should then draw the outline of the vessel. 4. Menu... Not all phones has this dedicated "menu" button... Mine does not... This renders this app useless, I can't search for a vessel and then show it's location without this button. The loading of maps are horrible. It loads just a few chunks and then stops. FIX THIS!!! Tried on 3 phones now, same issue. It has been like this forever. I am an antenna provider and I am ashamed to be a part of this now.

The track option is not working at all. And the map never loads completely (always with an empty squares)

Was perfect, but since Android 6.xx no "menu" option in "my vessels" and one cannot see the position of the vessel he's following. Please bring it back. 3 stars just because of the described problem. PS In the previous versions, one could bring the menu with the bottom left button

After a huge prolonging registering experience I was able to find pics&basic details of the ship.Couldn't locate it on map while lots of other free apps could without all the hassle. I was on the page listing basic details of the ship&it swaps between saying 'click on photo for more photos' That works. But 'click on menu for more options' DOH! NO MENU BUTTON. Also only passenger ships covered! I'm on 100Mbs data connection&still very slow to load up map data. Will rate better if it becomes functional.

You have to buy all the add ons or you only get access in its basic form no good for spotting enthusiasts. Will try another app.
