There are few GUI bugs but overall app is working great.

A ways behind the usability of YouTube, should have a landscape orientation for when the handset is docked for instance, pain to have to rotate phone to select video then put back down on table.. also no 4k?? Come on guys.. otherwise it's good :)

Paid subscription but there are still ads! Lot of crashes and bugs. No multi window during playback.

Darker theme is so much better than Utube, less compressed videos remind me that it's 2016not 2004. There's enough content to keep me satisfied... for now. You need higher broadband requirements but you won't regret signing up

I love it so much because all the youtubers i watch i can watch their videos 3 days early

App has degraded severly since last review. It still works for browsing but videos regularly loose sync between audio and video with the audio continuing to play and the video just stopping..... Have to tap on the screen to bring up the controls to get it to redraw the video.... And then it'll freeze again in about 20 seconds. Having just paid for a sub I'm rather disappointed. Also, there appears to be no video buffer so viewing stuff on mobile network is super not cool. And even on WiFi can be glitchy as!

App will not stay connected to Chromecast. Have re installed several times.

There should be more payment options like paying once for a year without the need of a credit card or more country specific methods like i-deal in the Netherlands. Not everyone has a credit card and this means you guys are missing a lot of possible costumers this way...

I have 10mbps connection and still a 10 minutes video keeps on loading....really bullshit...plz improve ur app like YouTube

Seems to stop casting my videos after a minute or so when the screen is off on my phone since it updated recently.

This whole business model of providing a premium service to be served ads is full retarded. And the app has much to be desired. EDIT 2: While streaming to my Shield TV, Nexus player, or Chromecast 1 & 2, the app will kill the cast/stream randomly for no reason. I've reinstalled the app but nothing changed. Please fix your app or make a new one for the Android TV, like every major company has.

The app is pretty awful. I don't need to see the same ten second clip repeater over and over again. It's just annoying. The UI is largely and clunky, and I could go on and on bit suffice it to say it's terrible. The business model is worse, I wish they hadn't messed with YouTubes system, and I wish the YouTubes wouldn't have followed them, but oh well. I'm not willing to pay just to see the content on time, so I'll just have to watch it a week late.

This App need alot of improvement! I don't understand why I am still having lag issue and bugs after all!!

The app works fine on my Note III, and the video quality looks fine to me and I don't have any issues with buffering (unlike youtube). The only thing I'd like to see changed is make the comments section be the default screen, vs a button, and maybe make a videos tab for the channel you're looking at. Also I wouldn't mind if the 3-5 second ads came back since they weren't obnoxious (once again, unlike youtube). Otherwise keep up the good work.

Nothing above 1080p, do you think it's 2012 or something? Colors are completely terrible, like viewing prophoto RGB on an sRGB calibrated display. Comments system on videos is useless, it's more akin to Facebook than anything useful. And threads, what the hell? They're nothing but slideshows.

Vessel is everything they claim to be. The app is nice and stable, and videos arrive same time that they do on the website. If your a fan of tech content, vessel is a powerhouse of Tech Channels. From the mighty Linus Tech Tips team, to the smaller less knows channels.

Only came cause Linus and other youtubers I know are here. If I have to pay for this when they are also on YouTube then i don't see why I even need this app in the first place.

It's not great by any stretch of the imagination but it's not as bad as most people make it sound like.

And there is a very cheap 19.99$ / year subscription available too! -------------------Old Review------------------- Vessel has become a daily app for me, but I'm still surprised about a few things. Why are there ads when I pay for the service? Sure, they're only a few seconds but I really wish they weren't there... Other features like playlists, watching a video while looking for the next etc. would be cool!

They seem to have got rid of the adverts (thankfully we are no longer paying to watch adverts!) But the app is still difficult to use - very unintuitive, can't minimise the video like you can on YouTube, it's just generally not a nice app to use.

Running on an LG G3. Videos buffer constantly regardless of connection. Videos often out right crash and need to be completely restarted, moving the progress slider causes endless buffering, videos jump and lurch all over the place skipping up to 10 secs at a time or repeating many frames of the video. User interface for navigating content needs to be completely scrapped and redesigned from the ground up. So far all this service brings to the table is locked down 7 day exclusive anti-consumer bs.
