not an accurate translation . Gives false commentary and bad translations to white wash Islam, and make it seem peaceful. If this is necessary than think about the God you serve. I call you to repent of your sins and trust Christ as Savior

Has thus English translation been approved by any scholars? It appears very inaccurate to me. Chapter 67, verse 5 , as far as I am aware, this is not referring to soothsayers per se. Also verse 6, 'Gehenna', I mean seriously? A Hebrew word in an English translation of an Arabic Qur'an? What's going on there?

As a Christian who is still firm in his Christian beliefs, I love this app's way of making intelligent commentary of the verses of the Quran. I firmly believe in understanding Muslims and thier beliefs alongside with my Jewish brothers. This is a Great study app for the Quran. I was suprised especially with this app's view of hell not being permanent because I constantly thought Islam and most Muslims believing in Permanent hell. I pray that God's blessings on all of you.

I've had this app for a long time but I'm now just starting to read the tafsir and I'm finding some bizarre things I've never heard before. But no where does it indicate which scholars compilated this tafsir. Could someone please tell me if they know?

Whoever the author is needs to proof his work. The character Allah comes across as bit of nut case. He tells you to forgive your enemies and says your enemies could become your best friend. However he also says they should be slain on another page. 1 star for this fantasy book

This English version is for the intelligent reader: an EXPLANATORY translation, not the literal word for word version! The interpretation is so clear, logical, and fluid. It appeals to reason. But Muslims who lack logic or logic is wanting may feel insulted or be offended. Beware of using this apps, it will knock down stupidity and BLIND obedience to authority. (I loved the widget, too. I can play the audio and/or read the script). There's a lot more than I can write here. Get it and discover for yourself.

The best version of quran online so far. Has some flaws, keep crashing sometimes using search function. Search function keep crashing the app.

The translation seems to lie to us. Chapter 8 is translated as "The Voluntary Gifts" where just about every other Quran calls it "The Spoils of War" which is more accurate when reading. Spoils of war are absolutely not volutary gifts by any definition and still compaired to other Qur'ans this whole chapter is missing much detail and information about those things that Muhammad says they can take for themselves. This english version of the Qur'an lies. Even more so than other english, altered versions.

I love this so much on android. But on my iPhone the commentary is barely readable. Perhaps you could darken the back round

I'm confused of why this translation gives a meaning to words only Allah Ta Ala knows the meaning of? (ie Alif Lam Mim)For those of you who say those words have been translated, please tell me their translation?

What a wonderful work the developer has done in regards to this app. May Allah bless you and reward you for your deeds with best of his rewards. It has everything you would imagine to have for the "perfect book" as Allah describes it to be.

It's not the be all and end all of translations for all those who have a problem with it but it's one of the good ones. Please let the next update be audio added to the commentary part.

This is the true and Holy word of God. It references the Holy Bible in many clear an infallible ways. Any man woman or child wishing to find peace in God can look to the wisdom of the Quran. It is The Word of God

There are problems in translation after few weeks of reading it started to confuse me

I dont read or speak Arabic well. I love the fact, I can hear and see the Quran in english. The highlighted portion of each ayat is wonderful to follow.

Example surah 3:55 "will cause jesus to die a natural death" incorrect!

Downloaded this as proof that allah is not a peaceful god, but I won't quote inaccurate translations... I'll stick to the hard cover BS instead...

It's isn't translated, it's interpreted. The commentary is unnecessary and some of the passages are wrong.

One of the best apps I've used for Quran meaning and recitation though it would be nice to know whose translation is being used.

in Quran 95:8 and Quran 39:53. It says that Allah is just of all judges and forgives all sins you cannot be just and forgive all sins. If allah forgives all sins he cannot be God.

Alot of verses missing completly censored.

Please take off huge book icon and huge 'the Holy quran' heading from widget and please make it more transparent. If it fills all screen and if it covers background(cuz It is not transparent) of phone, after some time people will choose background instead of your widget. So we need this but it should be more quality like I explained. Thanks

This quran is misleading and wrong translation, Al tawbab 23 is a give up, that verse make no sense "allies"?? Real and this quran got 4.4 rating? Who ever translate this quran , you dont have to wait for hell because its already in your head and chest. Quran is book of auylia not for average or mindless.

There is an option to whether listen to the Qur'an in both English and Arabic, however when that is switched off and only Arabic version is being read out. The same surah will be read twice in Arabic rather than moving on to the next.

What a correct translation based on classical Arabic dictionaries! Thank you! Don't get discouraged by people who claim that 'alif, lam, meem' are mystic sumbols and who think that Allah does not want us to know the meaning. That these letters and similar ones in other chapters are abbreviations and are to be translated has already been rendered as such by great Muslim scholars like: Ibn Abbas, Ibn Masud, Ubbay bin Kaab, Mujahid Said Ibn Jubair, Quatadah, Ikramah and later Suddi, Shabi and Akhfash and more.

Doesn't hold the position, always having to remember where I was reading from.

I was looking for the type that has Arabic both audio and Visual plus the English translation.. Alhamdulillahi found it..
