OneCast - podcast simply

On some shows when you type in the correct name of the show in the search engine, nothing comes up. This very time consuming to find a show. I would give it a five if you ever fix this

Search function finds no results, developer never addresses the issue and once a show had been played it cannot be repeated. 5 stars to 1 star

The search engine makes it easy to access all the podcasts there were otherwise only available on itunes.

I would love to rewind just a few seconds. I want more control on rewind. If I miss onlya few words, it is too hard to go back a little. I can't go back and listen to the same podcast a second time. Needs work to be user friendly

It work ok most of the time, but often the search function brings up no results, making it impossible to download podcasts.

Used to love this app, but it stopped working. Seems like the developer abandoned it. My favorite podcasts no longer update with this app. Thanks for the memories lol

After giving a two-star review earlier, it's gotten a lot of bugs worked out... but not great yet. A few usability issues. Worst is after pausing a podcast (say using earphone control), if some sound event occurs, the podcast will start playing again! Pausing too long often means you cannot continue play using earphone control. Last, leaving OneCast on pause often will start heating up my phone, and drain the battery in no time flat.

Daily use for two years without a glitch. Thanks for this great app.

Not bad but has a very annoying feature. If podcast is in last 5 minutes or so and my phone gets a notification, the podcast starts over. This happens a lot more frequently than you'd think.

Don't bother downloading this, the developer has completely abandoned it.

Well i told my mother to download this app and realised the search doesnt work at all????It stays blank. What is the use now?

Search functionality not working.

Tried searching for podcasts by name, producer (e.g NPR), host, writer, you name it --- nothing happens. Really liked this app before but am deleting it now.

Then it just stopped working sufficiently. Certain podcasts would either stop or not launch. It's not exactly down to updates either there have barely been any. Have paid for Pocket Casts and will not look back. Very disappointed.

This used to be the best podcast appreciate but now you can't search for podcast. Every time I search I just comes up blank now.

I moved on to Podcast Addict. Unfortunately this doesn't work well anymore.

Went let me listen to podcasts twice.

*Update* Have used this for a long time. Paid for it. Happy overall, but the lack of working "auto-update" or "auto sync" function has become a deal-breaker for me. I listen to 10+ football podcasts regularly. Having to wait for each one to manually sync every day just got old. If this feature is added, I would gladly use it again.

I used this app for a very long time. Now I can even search.

After you finish an episode, if you try to open it to listen again, it just closes straight away. Please fix!

Can only listen once which is very annoying, otherwise it would be great.

Can we get Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank back? It stopped updating 8 months ago.

Love the design and simplicity, but I've always had the same problem... My episodes don't update, there's no way to get new episodes despite me clicking "refresh episodes"

I find it very useful in finding and listening to podcasts.

Long time user. Haven't been able to get the recent episodes of This American Life, then ran into a download issue with another podcast which caused me to look around and now I've switched to another app that is better. If it had not had these glitches I wouldn't have looked around

Adding new feeds. And creating a playlist...

Have had OneCast for years, love its simplicity, flexibility and quality - personally speaking it's my favourite podcast app by a long shot!

I have been using this app for many months but I am now uninstalling and moving on because of bugs esp with podcasts that have finished but when you try to play them again it stops playing right away. Also the app does not play nice with other music apps

Downloaded the app to my new phone but can't find any of my favorite podcasts unless they are from the US. Like other reviewers, my screen just stays blank! Will be switching to other podcast apps if this carries on.

Once an episode has played all the way through I cant play it again. This is very annoying and has been a problem since I download the app, OVER 6 months ago. If this one bug was fixed I would give the app 5 stars.

Was great now it can't find many of the podcasts I listen to such as radio 4's Friday night comedy, this American life and hack circus

After installing nearly every other podcast player, test driving, and then uninstalling, I found this one. It does exactly what I want it to do, with a much cleaner and intuitive UI, and without the advertising! Thank you!

It does exactly what it supposed to do. Great selection of podcasts. Indispensable when on long road trips. But it has one annoying bug, it doesn't restore current position in a podcast properly. If you stop podcast and come back to it later, it starts playing from the beginning. Also, sometimes it skips back to the beginning when notification sounds is being played by another app. Very annoying. Otherwise, great app.

I have used Onecast for years but now it won't work at all on my Galaxy S5. I can no longer search any podcasts, no results are found on podcasts that used to show up and are very popular. Uninstaller and reinstalled several times including clearing all cache and data. No luck. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

After a few months of enjoying this app I noticed popup messages. Onecast was auto focusing my camera. I turn it off. And it restarts itself. To many popup messages for me

Last update altered the app. App runs in the background and if I want to stop it I must do it through the running app section...was a great app not anymore
