Verizon Push To Talk Plus

PTT sucks. Even in the quietest area/setting you cannot hear the other person. Though the notifications are overwhelmingly loud. Most days it refuses to even connect. So you have to turn off your phone once or more to get the connection back. A lot of the time that doesn't even work. So you'll have to uninstall it, reinstall, go through all the prompts wait for it to say reconnecting. Which it never will actually connect. So you'll have to wait about 15 seconds. Turn your phone off, wait 10 or more seconds. Turn the phone back on. Resubmit some of the prompts and it may or may not work. Most days it's takes me over 2 hours to get a stable connection. Moving with it or sitting in place doesn't seem to matter. Also you CANNOT be connected to WiFi or it will disable itself and not work. Only 3G or 4G should be active in order for it to work. It's tiring, unreliable, and irritating. Unfortunately I need it for work or else I wouldn't bother with it. Would recommend it to even my worst enemies...yeah it's THAT BAD! Also seems to drop calls and Bluetooth connection randomly.

Works great! we use is at our company everyone enjoys having the ease of communication. we use it for smartphones in the offices. the guys on the ground and the drivers have the flip phones that work very well. the flip phones we use are the kyocera dura xv's for the smartphones we use the kyocera dura force pro and they are both outstanding phones for this system!

Volume continues to be an issue on both the alerts and the actual call I can't hear it over the sound of normal life

Volume is way too low during a call, even tough to hear while holding the speaker directly in my ear.

Volme is not working properly on Samsung J3 V. Sound is low even when the volume is on max.

I use this app for work at Verizon a lot! It would be nice if it was more user-friendly

Since the last update the app constantly crashes. During almost every connect call the app force closes.

It's OK. They seem to be updating more often but it still has server connection issues. It gets frustrating.

This used to be a great app a year ago until it started conflicting with my Jawbone up2 tracker. Now my up2 band cannot stay connected to the app or my phone through Bluetooth.

Constantly crashes. Can't use a PAID SERVICE!!!

I just don't understand why you offer a service that only works on a few phones and most of them are older phones. It doesn't work with any new phones that just came out. How do you expect to sell the service when ever other brand PTT app will install on any phone. Very frustrating, hire some good programmers instead of buying yahoo.

I have this installed on my LG G4 and I have noticed that background usage has used 40% of my battery. It also is inconsistent in making a connection.

Last update caused problems on my droid maxx. I now have to open the app and leave it running in the background in order to use it. If I close the app I am shown offline. Another update, I switched to a Galaxy S6, PTT+ worked great until the update to Android 6. Now I have to continually open the app to get connected to the server. App will not stay connected no matter what I try.

Traded in old phone because it wasnt "compatible" now this droid maxx 2 that I was promised would work is also incompatible... Any plans to make it work. I spent all this money on a new phone and gained absolutely nothing, need this for work.

Just got two-way and the Kyocera smart phone but I need to edit some of my contacts however the app won't let me. This is unacceptable!!!! Who doesn't have control over their contacts?

This is a great app to use and the customer service were very good. I had a lot of trouble originally with the app freezing up but they stuck with it and fix the issue.

There is support for the droid turbo 2 for the app. However it has not been added to billing. So the device can not go online. Please add the billing section. Also called Verizon! They can't do it please fix.

Getting the run around cannot connect to server ,yet no problem in charging md.

Very Excited about the app and can now just carry one phone to communicate with all of our employees who use phones with only the PTT service instead of having to keep one phone for PTT and then my smart phone. But, we just upgraded all our devices and I went with the Samsung Note 5 (awesome phone by the way - love the notes!) but even though It says it is support the PTT+ app it won't let you download it from the app store. My partner went with the Samsung S6 and the app seems to be working fine on his phone. Can I get a little help here Verizon?? UPDATE: Thank you Verizon! I called Tech Support about the issue 2 days ago and yesterday the app was available for the Note 5. Verizon is the best! Thank you. Everything is working fine.

Not a terrible app. Only thing I wish it had was the capability to PTT while in private mode. If I want to talk I have to move it away from my ear to push the screen button, talk, then place the phone back up to my ear. If they could find a way to incorporate an exterior button as the PTT button, it would be much better

After 8 months I gave up on PTT Plus. I'm getting better service on the Voxer PTT app. I happily pay for their annual subscription times 4 lines and no issues. They reply claiming to email them (See below) which I have done and all they do is ask for phone and app versions and you never hear back from them. I forwarded the entire email again to them asking for updates and they were ignored. So I gave up! Phones used were Galaxy S4, Note 4, Droid Maxx 2, and Convoy 3.

But.... Needs to be way louder from the speaker

I have a Galaxy S4 but most of my co-workers use the Note 2. Beginning a couple of weeks ago they can no longer hear me 90% of the time, but I can still hear them. I tried reinstalling the app but no difference. It worked great until recently!

Can't believe this app worked out my edge and not edge +. Disappointed big time.

I contacted tech support and they fixed all my connecting and sound issues issues with the last update. Great job, Thanks guys.

There are much better apps than this....this is only one touch away from placing a phone call

Ever since the update I cannot stay connected it keeps kicking me off and giving me the connecting to server message.

Long way to go to perfect.
