Verifly – Drone Insurance Now for Android
NOT available in NY? :(
Awesome app, love it
Allows you to purchase insurance but until you purchase the insurance the maps are not useable because they are blocked by an option banner. The app has a pretty good map and sometimes we don't need insurance to fly. The way this app is at present it is completely useless except to punch the button to purchase insurance. This review is in regards to the app only...not the insurance
Absolutely love this app. I hope I never need to see how far the protection goes though. ????
Amazing app! Any time frame on Hull coverage?
Love the idea and simplicity. However, a few things would make it better. Drone damage coverage, in-app support, touch on "races" bit. There's no mention of filming a racing event. The "races" mentioned seems to relate strictly to drone racing events. Which make sense not to be cover. Verify, can you confirm coverage for "filming" a racing event? Whether it be drag racing, oval or any other type of racing event, not the drone participating in the actual rave itself. Thank you for an awesome way to be safe
Would find this more useful if it covered drone damage. I have an expensive drone and have never crashed it but would get this service in a heartbeat for peace of mind if it covered drone, assessory, cargo (cam/gimble) repair or replacement. However for what this insurance does offer it's pretty innovative none the less.
Easy to use. Well built
Great and fast to get coverage when you need it.
Easy to use great Coverage .
Excellent app! Very easy to use. I only wish you could still access the app offline, but there's no way to really make that happen. I couldn't get coverage on a recent job because I had no signal.
Really is an INCREDIBLE tool for us commercial sUAS pilots...especially with the newest additions. Very, very cool.
Outstanding Thank You.
Great job!! This makes it possible for us little guys to operate!
Highly recommend. Great app, super useful service, and excellent support.
Great Application
I live in alaska and most of this state is covered with lakes from which planes take off and land at. This makes it very hard to find coverage in the main Anchorage and MatSu Valley areas and I am fully allowed to fly in these places. Other than that, I give this app and idea 5 stars. Having said all of that, I was forced to get a separate insurance policy elsewhere. Maybe next year? Update 1-19-17: I'm still hoping and waiting on that aerospace update for expanded coverage in my area. So far the map is the same from what I can tell....Any news yet now that it's the new year? - I'm excitedly anticipating the update.
I see the niche. Definately in this sue you society.
Easy to use and such a great idea!
So they were very good idea but it is not available in New York yet. I'm doing jobs traveling means that certain cities won't be able to get covered which ones still need a regular insurance policy looking forward to trying when available in New York

Has potential to be great if it was available in my state. Does not work in New York.
thank you
This app and concept are both great. Their strategic partnerships are promising.

No coverage in Illinois.
I've used this several times now. The peace of mind alone is worth the cost. My only issue is I don't see how to add a named insured to the policy (for example, a property owner where you might be flying).
What if a drone flies further than a quarter-mile during a fly away and crashes into something
Have Galaxy 7 edge and program never opens by freezes screen until I hit home.
This app is perfect for a recreational flyer like myself. The low price is totally worth the ease of mind when I'm flying my DJI Phantom 4. I would recommend this app to all my friends and anyone looking for cheap and convenient drone insurance.
this app its pretty simple to use, I love to go to the countryside and fly my DJI Phantom! best of all no contract you just pay when you fly your drone
Well done! Fast and easy to grab cost effective coverage exactly when you need it from a company that understands cutting edge drone industry.
Finally a way to fly my drone without having to worry that much
Great concept. It is always good to know you're covered.
Very quick and easy to use. The price is more than affordable.
Insurance is one of the largest, if not the largest, cost and pain points of being a commercial drone user. Traditional insurance products require a harsh application process, annual payments which can be thousands of dollars, and are tied to a particular drone. Finally, an app to bring drone insurance into the 21st century. Pricing starts at $10 depending on location, covers 1/4 mile around you which is enough for most jobs, for an hour which is about four flights. The policy is $1M liability and $10k invasion of privacy all underwritten by Global (the gold standard in aviation insurance providers) and will delight your clients. This app will fundamentally change the way you run your business. I can't wait to see what they think of next! Download it now!
Simple and sensible risk management. Highly recommended!
This is wow...I love it
This app is so easy, its a beautiful thing, love it love IT!! What a great idea..

Way, way, stupidly over priced. Join AMA for $75 a year and buy year long coverage for less than $600 a year. If you fly professionally be smart and save money. The concept behind the app is good. Execution and pricing earn it 1 star. Lower the price and you'll get a second chance. Thanks for your reply. You might not be aware that the AMA does offer it's members access to commercial insurance. In my case with hull insurance that covers my aircraft I pay about $50 a month for $1million in liability and can upgrade with a phone call. Yes I build my insurance costs into my invoices so it gets more than paid for by year end. Like I said initially, way, way, over priced.
