UPDATE #2 The app creator contacted me and fixed up the app for me. It's fantastic! I use it every day and it works well enough for me to get my research done all the time. Update #1 : I am writing a book/blog and I use this app every single day for research purposes so that I can find names for all of the characters in my book and despite the fact that I love the app itself, I am losing my patience with the fact that, this app keeps freezing up and shutting down EVERY, SINGLE, DAY! I am now searching for a new app to download. It keeps freezing up and then it shuts down completely. I love the app itself, I just wish that it could work properly so that I wouldn't have to watch it get shut down so damn much.

I like the suggested names feature, but I don't like how any of the lists are organized. There are too many of the same names with a variety of spellings, shown as though they are different names. It would be more helpful if the most common spelling was listed and then the alternative spellings were in the detail. I also wish there was a way to highlight or star the most favorite names on the list of favorites (maybe that's asking too much

The free app had limited functionality to me, with only a few save slots for "favorites" However after upgrading I am extremely happy. Unlimited favorites, and tailored suggestions based on the names you liked. Good stats on each name, popularity rankings, spelling variations and 'sibling' name suggestions. Highly reccommend!

I think the app is great but I was irritated that I downloaded the free app initially and was constantly pestered to download the one you have to pay for. On several occasions, I tried to save a name and it wouldn't allow me to and just kept promoting me to purchase the app.

Love the full version. But hated I had to buy the full version to save more names... Also there needs to be a way to alphabetize the saved list!! Thanks

Decent App - wish there was a way to "remove" names that you dont like. Would also be great to be able to filter on multiple things like united states AND very popular or rare, etc...

Paid for the full version on my last phone but can't get it on new phone.

Only lets you save 6 names if you don't pay for it.

Not as many name options as I had hoped....

I don't think the filter works. I put Africa as my name to search. Yet the first name that I get is not African but Gaelic? In fact majority of the names are not even what I was looking for. I paid the price. So I can unlock more features,and it doesn't even work.

No helpful features, and doesn't let you select more than five favorites without paying. There are better apps.

I could only save 5 baby names. I couldn't filter them unless I buy. That's stupid. Don't claim to be free and then make people buy to use the app. The names are free online! And on pintrest! No thanks. App sucks.

The app is OK, for the most part. It stops quite frequently.

Quite a few names have no meanings or definitions displayed.

It limits how many 'favorites' I can have for both boy and girl names unless I start paying for the update. I'm not made out of money, but thanks (:

Update: Still the best name app out there. Despite all the nay sayers, this app is excellent. The user interface is top notch, you can move names up and down your list, the devs have thought of everything! I'm happy to pay the minimal fee for such an awesome app, thanks! Was experiencing a small glitch with the app, emailed the devs and bam, had a new update in a couple of days!

I'm a huge lover of names. I always have been. What drew me to this app was an infographic about the top names per profession that I came across on Facebook. It was magnificent! I had hoped this app would have that and then some. Maybe this is everything the common user would look for in an app like this, but I was hoping for more. I even upgraded to the paid version.

I really love playing with this app and seeing popularity of names, finding a similar name for my son's future siblings etc. But seriously- the top profession for someone named Joseph came up as Gangster. Are you kidding me with that crap? Clearly some of these stats need to be taken with a grain of salt. Fun app nonetheless.

I did like this app at first, however, it will not allow you to favorite and save more than 4 names without upgrading. I found a less greedy app to use.

It is informational and helpful, but it closes out all the time! Needs fixing!
