Deduplicate SMS

I had over 24,000 SMS duplicates from a bad restore from awhile back and this app removed them! Originally I was getting the bug "App Struck at 0/0", but I worked with the developer and was happy to help getting it to work with this many text messages and on my Galaxy S8+!

It said that I had 59 duplicates sms and I choose to delete them, but I can see that all the duplicated messages in my inbox, so I don't know what it actually deleted! It might actually deleted something important and now I don't know what! Sorry, but I've lost all go confidence in this app that I just installed.

Works as advertised, but I did have to use the ignore timestamp option. It wouldn't detection my duplicate messages under default settings.

Did exactly what I wanted it to do, I had over 12000 texts due to a back up and restore, now I'm back to my regular 5000+, awesome!

Found/deleted 2 exact dupes. Rescanned to ignore timestamps and found/deleted almost 200. Never deleted the dupes I wanted to delete, my "texts to self" (used as note to self, literally). This would be a 5 star feature and worth buying. Also needs a preview list of what it's deleting, very important... Thanks dev!

It did cause my phone log to show 60 missed calls though. Of course, I haven't missed 60 calls.

Finds 41000+ duplicated from a bad restore but doesn't delete them. Just sits at a screen that says deleted 0/0 and wants me to try more apps.

Easy to use and effective. Make a backup of your messages with something like SMS to Text first just in case there are problems.

I was hesitant at first trying this out before accidently restored from backup twice .. this app deleted the duplicates perfectly thank you...

Doesn't work on galaxy note 7, crashes when trying to delete. Sent a log from the crash

Easy to use! Was able to delete duplicated sms when I restored during upgrade.

Garbage. Didnt delete any duplicates at all.

Ran thru 9600 messages in a flash and found none of the 4800 duplicates...previously accidentally restored backup 2x...oh well.

"deleted" over 200 things but still had duplicates... What?

Make it a bit more user-friendly and it'd be five stars. E.g. show the message when no duplicates or duplicates are deleted. I also got a hang on UI like there were still duplicates removal in progress but after I restarted the app it has reported no duplicates.

Recently upgraded and accidently backed up texts twice. The app only found 2 with timestamp off. Then 800 with it on. I still have thousands of duplicate messages it missed.

This app fixed up my botched SMS restore without a hitch. Great interface, what a life saver. Thank you so much.

Just what I needed. I had over 3400 duplicate messages and this app found them all and deleted every last one of them.

Like other person said. Scanned duplicated but it didn't delete it just stuck at 0/0... didn't work...

The app identified the duplicate texts, but unfortunately the app gave me an error when it attempted to delete the duplicates, before crashing. I've tried using the app multiple times but get the same error.

It deleted all my received duplicate messages but not the ones I sent. HTC One M8 running 6.0

It scans the sms messages but when it goes to clean it crashes "SMS Deduplicate has stopped"
