Die EBM Elite Graz stellt sich vor

Wir, die EBM Elite Graz, sind eine Gemeinschaft von Leuten, die über die Leidenschaft zur dunklen elektronischen Musik zusammen gefunden haben.
Wir haben für unsere Gruppe „EBM“ als Überbegriff für die diversen Genres - wie Futurepop, Darkwave, Dark Electro, Industrial und natürlich auch Oldschool/Anhalt EBM sowie EBM selbst - definiert. Eine Gemeinsamkeit dieser Genres ist, dass sie alle ihre Wurzeln irgendwo in der ElectronicBodyMusic der frühen 80er haben.

Angefangen hat alles vor über zwei Jahren auf Facebook, als es die Funktion „Gruppen erstellen“ erstmals gab. Aus dieser anfänglichen Spielerei mit einem neuen Medium hat sich in den letzten beiden Jahren einiges entwickelt.
Aus unserer Facebook-Gruppe wurde eine richtige Gemeinschaft und Community, die stetig weiter wächst.

Da die Szene in Österreich nicht besonders groß ist, haben wir uns überlegt, wie wir dieser kleinen aber feinen Szene etwas mehr Leben einhauchen können.
Und dieses WIE liegt für uns klar auf der Hand: Wir müssen ALLE an einem Strang ziehen, und das Genre-übergreifend! Aus diesem Grunde ist TOLERANZ für uns ein sehr wichtiges und zentrales Thema. Bei uns ist jede/r willkommen, egal welche Musikrichtung sie oder er bevorzugt. Uns geht es allein darum, gemeinsam Spaß und Freude an der Musik, egal ob auf Konzerten oder auf Partys, zu haben. Bei uns geht es nicht darum, welche die bessere Musikrichtung ist - jeder Mensch hat seine Vorlieben und seinen eigenen Geschmack, und das ist auch gut so!

Da dieser Gedanke in unserer Gruppe sehr stark verwurzelt ist, haben wir uns im Vorjahr zusammengesetzt und überlegt, in welche Richtung wir uns weiter entwickeln wollen. Im Zuge dieser Diskussionen haben wir beschlossen den Verein EBM Elite Graz zu gründen, um strukturierter auftreten zu können. Nach einer langen und intensiven Vorbereitungsphase ist es nun endlich soweit: seit 27.12.2012 ist die EBM Elite Graz ein offizieller Verein. The EBM Elite Graz introduces itself

We, the EBM Elite Graz, a community of people who have found the passion for dark electronic music together are.
We have for our group "EBM" as an umbrella term for the various genres - defined - as Futurepop, Darkwave, Dark Electro, Industrial, and of course old school / Anhalt EBM and EBM itself. One common feature of these genres is that they all have their roots somewhere in the Electronic Body Music of the early 80s.

It all started about two years ago on Facebook, when there was the "Create Group" for the first time. From this initial gimmick with a new medium has over the last two years, some developed.
From our Facebook group a real community and community that continues to grow was.

Since the scene is not particularly large in Austria, we thought about how we can infuse this small but beautiful scene a little more life.
And this is HOW for us are obvious: We need to pull ALL on one strand, and the genre-cross! For this reason TOLERANCE is a very important and vital issue for us. With us, every / r is welcome, no matter what kind of music he or she preferred. For us, it is just a matter of fun together and delight in the music, whether to have at concerts or at parties. With us it is not about which is the better of music - everyone has their preferences and their own taste, and that's a good thing!

Since this thought is deeply rooted in our group, we sat together in the previous year and consider the direction in which we want to develop further. In the course of these discussions, we decided to start the club EBM Elite Graz to occur structured can. After a long and intensive preparation phase, it is finally here: since 27.12.2012 is the EBM Elite Graz an official club.
