Dir - Open source file manager for Android
very good and no stupid permissions like SMS/call log/microphone
Nice open source app. Would love to see network functions.
Fast, clean, small in size and does the job perfectly!
Excellent. Quick in action. Simple. Can be moved to SD card also!ADDing a RECYCLE BIN will be highly welcome. EDIT: Operations such as Copy, Rename, Compress, Delete, Create New Folder can not be performed in USB OTG having three PDFs. Only sharing is possible!
Open source and without unnecessary permissions.
Simple, functional and useful
Doesn't keep scroll position after doing an operation like delete, and the pencil icon isn't intuitive to find that operation. Although I love the small size and low number of permissions, root functionality is a must have, and the ability to be able to access SMB shares would be very useful.
Nice and simple, minimal permissions. No ads, no cruft. Good UI. Code readable on GitHub. Doesn't have cloud functionality, that can be a pro or a con depending on your needs. For me I love it. Good job, dev. Add a donate button or patreon link to your github landing page.
Screaming autoplay ad splash page at 5am literally ruined my life Dude says it wasn't his app, but I have never encountered this prior I changed to 3 stars to not hurt the score so bad while I investigate
Doesn't let you do anything except delete or "remove from library" WTF I installed it to copy files to my SD cards (I use 3 - one for video files one for audio files & one for social networking. If I can't copy files I CAN'T DO MY JOB!!! Thanks for wasting my time, flucksticks!
Super clean UI, easy to use and most important no ads! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The app is fast, beautiful and fully functional
Looks great and is just pleasant to use.
Fantastic file manager, but needs some sort of root access mode

Very promising. Disappointed in the lack of compression and decompression capabilities but it is understandable. EDIT: Oh, I see. It does have zipping/unzipping. I suggest baking it into the native explorer, so that if you tap a zip file it is decompressed (in a temp file if need be) and shown to you as one more folder in the file system. Functions-wise, it would be useful to have optional and fully controlled cloud-sync options, as well as FTP or something. But for what it is it is already a quite good app. Open-source and ad-less, what more can you ask?
