This fills a much needed hole for me. But not w/o a hard shortcoming. I just completed the 14 day trial today. This app works for the most part really well on both the PC and Android. I put it thru it's paces with Tasks, then moved on to installing the Outlook Addin. It worked good too, and liked being able to nest Tasks within Tasks, an Events/Appts. I didn't sync Contacts as I have way too many. I did try Notes, but don't use it. I prefer OneNote. I also was able to attach pics from the phone and port it to Outlook, and visa versa. From their documentation, it sounded like Categories were only colors on Android, but found the names are there as well. The sync function worked well. I've been a very Task/Project oriented person for a long time, using Outlook since it came out. There is one problem that has not been rectified, which is a show stopper for me,which I'm working w/support on fixing. I can no longer open attached items within Outlook(on the PC) no matter what type of object it is! Still works on Android. They haven't been able to rectify the problem either. Support is slow taking 2 days per email. I turned off the Addin, uninstalled it, ran a repair on Office H&B 2010 with reboots, but in a word I'm screwed right now. Hopefully this will get repaired. I almost gave it *** instead of **** but I'm holding out hope. This is a long Review, but wanted to be thorough.

Finally convinced myself to buy VCO and so far, I'm not sorry. The deciding factor is the SmartLInks. I really like them. There seems to be only one thing missing that I really came to like in another app and that is templates, particularly when scheduling events. Since all similar apps I have tried/used do have templates, perhaps this will be coming shortly. No updates in a year. Is Vecal still a viable company? Don't rest on your laurels. You aren't perfect yet. Needs and desires come and go. If you don't keep up, you're gone. Still like the app but still waiting on templates and the tie in to the phone busy, free settings. Been waiting a long time - at least a year.

Very excited to find something that syncs my Android & Outlook!!! So far I like it & will purchase if I can get an answer as to why everything except emails & websites in contacts are not syncing. I sent messages a couple hours ago...hopefully they will respond soon. Their website pages are not all loading completely on my laptop with Google Chrome. Update: I purchased Pro+ & after a few glitches got everything working well. Support responds quickly to my questions.

Sync is not 100% between outlook and android phone. Misses appointments here and there. Syncs best from Outlook to phone then the other way. From android phone to Outlook works about 50% of the time. Although this is about the best I could find out there. I wish there was something like Apple has with Iphone, that really worked well.

I am really impressed with the app & the suppport from the vendor. Always trying to help me with the app. 5 stars if you can figure out my latest dilemma and seperate icons on android home screen for each (ie contacts, calendar, tasks etc) keep up the good work.

I have used VCOrganizer for several years and it works great for me. All the settings and options can be confusing. I don't use Outlook for email. I regularly backup Outlook just in case something crazy happens.

It seems to be a nicely designed app, but it has several major drawbacks 1. It doesn't sync sub folders (in my case synced 0 contacts and events) 2. It doesn't sync other folders in the root tree of outlook Would anyone eventually create a proper app with support of subfolders?

I (mistakenly) purchased three VECAL products for Outlook2007-to-Android Samsung Galaxy s3 synchronization. Within one day of contacting support, they refunded credit for the two misordered programs (via their sales vendor). What a great first encounter with this vendor! I prefer their VCOrganizer Pro + over previous ones purchased over the past 10 years (including numerous versions of Treo Palm sync and HTC Titan2 MS sync programs). I have used the VCOrganizer for 4 months without any problems. I manage patient appointments with this program and therefore require a reliable means to connect appointment + billing + encounter notes. THIS PROGRAM DOES IT ALL VERY WELL. Kudos to the developer's staff. I have also updated to the latest 32 bit MS Outlook Sync (on Windows VISTA platform using a Toshiba Protege Notebook/Tablet) without any problems. It handles over 2K contacts and 10K events. Thanks again VECAL for good support and product, Dr G R Thomson

The reason why I put not sure is because it doesn't sync to my Outlook I actually put in all of my categories for tasks and that's why I can not sync to Outlook and I don't have a PC I only have Android devices unfortunately I only have a tablet and an Android phone unfortunately I can't sync I have to ask so my tablet but it doesn't come up on my phone I have to put them in manually why
