Dead app - Twice they have tossed worthless crumbs to the users while requests for templates and other worthwhile suggestions made almost two years ago go unanswered. Totally unresponsive to the real needs of the users and, this is by far, the most expensive app of its type.

I like that this app syncs seamlessly with outlook. Every calendaring and task organization app I've tried is missing something I need. There are apps that have additional features I would like to have, but they lack something critical (I'm too tired and it's too long passed to relay all the specifics). I give this a 4 rather than 5 because sometimes I don't get my reminders (could be my phone?) and if I complete a task after the due date, the simple list show the due date and you'd have to open each occurrence to see the actual completion date. I'd love to have a timer feature with tasks and goals, etc, but that seems to be outside of outlooks design and purpose. Otherwise, it has all that I need.

Used this for years. Got a new computer and every time I sync it destroys my calendar, deleting and reformatting everything. Syncing results in hours of work recreating my calender. STAY AWAY!!

This is a fantastic app for syncing everything between Outlook and google. I am particularly fond of the links and attachment capabilities. However, I would like to see activities in terms of updates and additions.

Samsung Galaxy 5 (now on an S8 and still works perfectly). Absolutely brilliant!!! Works every time. Sync is super fast. Excellent tool to use in conjunction with my outlook. I use on both phone and tablet. I am always on the go so this app keeps me super organised. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a stable app that helps keep you organised and efficient. Customer service from VCO had been outstanding. Would give more stars if I could!!!

Works well. But occasionally introduces duplicates, which sometime have garbled data.

Great app, integrates outlook with android seamlessly. Especially like the wireless / Bluetooth sync capability of entire outlook data base.

Excellent app to replicate your outlook

I was a big fun for a few years, after I tested +10 alternatives This was the only one that worked, if you take time to be careful, understand the reset time and when to use it, and mainly, be careful to the sync process to ensure no events/contacts get forgotten Sadly, whatever you do, it ends up soon or later, after some weeks/months, to get events and contacts out of sync. Also, handling recurring events is a hit and miss The tech support is awesome, but sadly they are getting slow on updates and mainly on fixing bugs once for ever I am an advanced user and software tech, so I know what I do. I ended up setting a local CalDav to sync both contacts and calendar, using DavDroid and the Caldav Snychronizer for outlook. This fixes every scenario. Sad because this one had really a great potential 2 stars because handling events and contacts sync on a hit and miss is a no go, soon or later

Been using it for years. It's as powerful as any similar desktop apps yet convenient at my fingertip. The search function helps me to find things easily now that my data has grown so huge.

When looking for an app that synchs my Android phone with Outlook on my PC, this was the only app I found that synched Notes, very important for me. Vecal worked smoothly with my Samsung Galaxy S4, and continues with my Samsung Galaxy Edge S7.

Easy to Use

All I needed was one-way sync of Outlook to my Android phone & Google apps. After years of using this, I can say that it is fine for all except calendar. (Note also that it was complicated to setup -- so many options and the implications of some are not very clear). As to calendar, it seemed good at first. However, after a couple months (for weekly-repeating event) or six months (for monthly-repeating events) or ten years (for yearly-repeating events), it messes up. Per the author, it only syncs repeating events for a limited horizon (e.g. 2 months). That's an immediate issue for me, anyway, as I make plans more than 2 months out and need to see commitments beyond that. Then, each night, VCO attempts to extend its horizon by adding events back in. It actually puts them in where they need to be, but also adds extra entries all over the place. The author (who has been very responsive) says he can't resolve it because it is an incompatible API with Google vs, Outlook. I expect now to write my own app for calendar sync. I'm just glad I didn't have two-way sync on, or Outlook would be hosed as well. Use VCO, but don't sync calendar!!

Have been using this on a daily basis for about a year - so obviously I find it useful and think it's just about the best thing since sliced bread. Had a few teething problems at first and found Vecal support quick to clarify any issue I had. This seamlessly synchronises Outlook with VCO, and if you wish, your Google account. There's plenty of options, which now seem clearer than before, different views including pinch and zoom, and a selection of widgets are available as well as a dashboard. The only improvement for me would be the ability to make the calendar and contacts the 'default' on the phone so I could interrogate them from other apps (voice control), (so for this reason I get VCO to sync to the default as well). Update 2016 - still using this app after 4 years - it's great and syncs with Outlook flawlessly. You can also link contacts/tasks/calendar entries etc

This the only Outlook sync on the market that works for all outlook functionality. This should be included in the Android OS.

I have used this for years. It syncs well with outlook. And it is fast. Years ago before I got this app, the other ones I tried were painfully slow to sync, and sometimes produced duplicates. This app solves that problem. Thanks guys!!

Have had for 2 years and have stopped using it. Developer apparently decided nothing more of significance needs to be done and has only tossed a couple of rather useless crumbs in our path. Request made almost 2 years ago and which reminders have been send, have been ignored. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Really like this app. Only thing really missing, IMHO, are templates for events and tasks. Was hoping V9 would have templates and better linking to Android calendar regarding busy/available selections. File attachments mean nothing to me but templates and busy/available selecting linking certainly do.

I have been using VC Pro for three year and overall I highly recommend it but there is one fundamental flaw which is a deal-breaker. If someone sends you a recurring meeting invite from a different time zone, VC Pro puts it in your Android calendar at the sender's local time - and does not adjust for the time difference. The only workaround Vecal has offered is to open each Occurrence of the meeting in Outlook and update it before resyncing. Therefore, I am downgrading my rating to 1.

Never use this app. different from my old one but learning to use it. I like it so far

Outlook on android is only email. Using this app gives you the remaining functions. Wish there was a way to sync over 4g but I'm still happy.

Works great with Outlook

VCOrganizer has enabled me to stay with Android phones for years instead of switching to iPhone - reason? It makes MS Outlook so easy, safe and portable. With the ability to encrypt Outlook files, I always have access but behind two layers of security. It is more useful than what I have on my PC at home. We are a two Mac, one PC family and the MAC has never played well with Outlook. If you need Outlook, you must have VCOrganizer. Tech support is always prompt and personal. I love this App!

I have been using this app for almost 2 years. It's a great app with excellent customer support. Had a recent issue and their response was extremely fast and the problem (a simple setting) was resolved immediately.This app is a main reason I have not switched to an iphone.
