I'm not a tech person and figured this out without much frustration. Just make sure you completely shut down VCOrganizer and restart it after you install the USB software. You may have to check the USB sync option each time - I noticed mine kept defaulting to Wif Fi.

Initially the USB sync didn't work as the PC app didn't find my Nexus 4. However Vecal support advised me that the USB driver for the Nexus 4 has to be loaded from the SDK. They provided me with a link to the download and provided follow up support when I had some problems. This is an issue with the Google Nexus 4, there is no problem with the USBExt app, which now works perfectly. However the Wifi connection also works perfectly out of the box so I suspect I'll stick to using Wifi. Support from Vecal was excellent and fast.

I got this to work after a few tries. It worked faster than the WiFi sync and doesn't get in the way of internet traffic since it doesn't use the network. $6.90 seems steep for this add-on app, since the VC Organizer product is already a bit pricey, but it works. A few hints that Vecal forgets to tell you: 1. I couldn't get it to run unless first I started HTC Sync on the PC. 2. I also had to make sure that I checked the HTC Sync button on the Android phone when I plugged in the USB. My phone defaults to "charge only." It apears that SyncCenter is supposed to start HTC Sync since you have to tell SyncCenter where to find adb.exe in the HTC Synch 3.0 directory. Mine was in C:Programs Files(x86)/HTC/ HTC Synch 3.0/abs.exe, not where SynchCenter expected it. And the limited instructions don't tell you to start HTC synch, but I got errors until I could get the phone to talk to HTC Sync. 3. Then When I started VC Organizer (6.1.66) on the PC and Started Sync on the Android, everything worked. It did fail when I moved the pghone, but I am thinking this was a loose USB connection and not related to the software.
