Aplicação gratuita, especifica para a plataforma FollowMe (http://followme.pt) !!!
Envio de localização de GPS (Global Positioning System) via SMS (Short Message Service) para o número de telefone do FollowMe.

Ideal para praticantes de trail, BTT, montanhismo, caminhada, etc.

Os registos da localização enviada por SMS é depois apresentada no site
(http://followme.pt/), e assim os vossos familiares e amigos podem acompanhar o vosso desempenho nos eventos em que participem.

Atenção:
O receptor de SMS é do operador MEO Portugal, deste modo, o custo de cada SMS enviado depende do tarifário que cada utilizador tem referente ao envio normal de um SMS para este operador.

Características:
- Envio dos SMS em modo manual ou envio automático por intervalos de tempo;

- O modo "Auto SMS", permite ao utilizador escolher o intervalo de tempo que quer reportar a sua localização (2, 5, 10, 20, 30 ou 60 minutos);

- Em modo automático a aplicação liga e desliga o GPS para que o consumo de bateria seja mais reduzido;
- O GPS fica ligado até que seja encontrado sinal de GPS ou até que se esgote o tempo limite (Timeout)

- Multi-linguagem (português e inglês);

- Possibilidade de parametrização do som, para saber se o SMS foi enviado com sucesso ou não;

- Opção de escolha de envio de localizações repetidas (no caso da localização ser igual à enviada no SMS anterior, pode enviar ou não);

- Possibilidade do utilizador adicionar texto ao SMS (máximo de 78 caracteres);

Location records sent by SMS is then displayed on the site
(http://followme.pt/), and so your family and friends can track your performance in events in which they participate.

Heads up:
The SMS receiver operator is MEO Portugal, thus the cost per SMS sent depends on the rate that each user is related to the normal SMS delivery to the operator.

Characteristics:
- Sending of SMS in manual mode or automatic submission by time intervals;

- The "Auto Text", allows the user to choose the time interval which either report its location (2, 5, 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes);

- In automatic mode the application starts and stops the GPS so that the battery consumption is lower;
- The GPS is turned on until GPS signal is found or until the expiration of the time limit (Timeout)

- Multi-language (Portuguese and English);

- Parameterization Possibility of sound, to find out whether the SMS was sent successfully or not;

- Option choice of sending repeated locations (if the location is equal to that sent the previous SMS, can send or not);

- User Ability to add text to the SMS (up to 78 characters);
