Anyone considering a Vantage system, read this carefully as Vantage likes to make homeowners hostage to some very shady people it does business with as its dealers. Had to pay $600 extra to the dealer at time of installation so he put in a "chip" in the controller that would enable us to install the app on unlimited devices as opposed too a few. At that time, when we installed the app on our devices, the app didn't ask for a password to connect to the controller, but now a few months later we cannot connect to the controller when we install or reinstall the app on any device. Our dealer was an unreliable conman and we had to fire him over other issues. He didn't provide us with any passwords at that time. Why does Vantage not allow us to get the password in another way? Why do homeowners have to remain hostage to a shady dealer months after installation?

great practical application. should allow home user to add/remove buttons from the smaller LCD panels. really cant stand having to call a programmer to do it, especially in a larger home. presets are nice to have but i cant copy presets i setup over to a scene through the app. needs more flexibility.
