About HTTPing

Httping is like 'ping' but for http-requests. Give it an url, and it'll show you how long it takes to connect, send a request and retrieve the reply (only the headers). Be aware that the transmission across the network also takes time! So it measures the latency of the webserver + network.
All measurements can be viewed in a graph which can be shared.
Can also display the HTTP(s) response headers and can send custom HTTP(s) headers.
It can also ping HTTPS urls.

Very good functionality - did not find a continuous ping functionality with any other app. There is a graphing function also, though the graph scale is impossible to read without a microscope!

unlike the other program with the same name.

I just wish the graph wasn't zoomed and hard to read. Pleaz keep improving

The URLs are stored by the main problem is no way to clear out those with typos, finally the useful ones are squeezed out and those rubbosh remain in the drop down list

This will be something I'd use if I can get it to store common requests I make. Landscape mode not good for settings screen on my captivate glide. I had to open and shut my physical keyboard to get the onscreen keyboard to disappear in order to see the OK button, which is only visible in portrait mode, since the screen doesn't adjust to landscape and the screen doesn't scroll or make the onscreen keyboard go away when you click out of an input field. So I couldn't save settings at all without some effort.

Fun tool to play around with. Actually really useful for quickly getting headers. Cheers buddy :)

Wow, added the queue functionality. This is definitely going to be a tool I will be using on my HTC EVO 4G.

Useful, but a bit cumbersome to use. Suggestions: add default urls for quick tests, keep history of my last urls so I don't need to type them again.
