Nice to see that the reversal of button functions from the August update has been corrected, two months after the error was introduced... Well it works now, thanks. Otherwise enjoy using the app.
No alerts system in place for mobile for either debit or credit transactions. With all the fraud going on, this is a basic feature that all financial institutions should have.
The app is fairly good, but for the past few months it seems much more finicky with accepting cheque images. I was hoping that this issue would have been fixed with updates by now. I hope that function will be improved.
Good to see that this app is getting updated because the error levels deemed acceptable are far too many. Long lag time, buttons abd menu options that dont respond for several seconds, links that are supposed to open in app, simply reopen the app to the home screen instead of the deposit or pay payment page. Very hit/miss
App generally works. Check deposit sometimes like photos and sometimes doesn't, with no feedback on why not. The photo recognition software on the server seems to be at fault. Like many apps, poor server side support for Android hurts the app itself, app developers need a kick up the backside.
Good app. The 'cancel' and 'exit' options hat show up when leaving the app are reversed. 'exit' returns you to the app and 'cancel' gets you out. A bit confusing. Thanks,
It has many glitches. From freezing, to blocking access with proper passwords, to now not letting me close the application. I must force quit or uninstall to close the app. I'm debating whether to keep it uninstalled.
This is the worst app ever. Doesnt even give you the option to use you pac number instead of security questions. Ready to change banks
When accepting etransfer the app doesn't launch and I have to go in through the mobile site. It's not the end of the world but certainly annoying. Seems glitchier lately.
Great to be able to deposit cheques and do almost all banking from your phone. This is an awesome time saver. Would be great if could use your flash for cheque deposit when low light. Bill pay and transfers work well.
Very buggy. If you want to exit you have it hit cancel instead of exit. Lots of dumb little bugs that would be nothing to fix.....
It's real glitchy. Doesn't log out half the time and doesn't exit at all anymore.
Painfully slow and unresponsive. Almost unusable.
Worked great till I upgraded my phone to Samsung S8 now it will not remember my login.
Awsome from the very first time I used this App. Very satisfied with my Vancity App.

Mobile cheque deposit is great, unfortunately you are unable to tap-to-focus when taking pictures of the cheque. An option for turning on the flash would be great too, because other lighting sources often result in shadows. Saved Intermember Transfers is a feature that is on the website but needs to be added to the app.
After a year and a half they finally fixed the Bill Pay (inverted Camera) (hence the change from 1 to 4 stars). How about getting in the modern era and using the fingerprint reader to access my account instead of requiring a pin every time.
My use of this APP is superb & problem free. The new function of depositing my Cheques gave me some headache in the beganing when the picture of the Cheque was not appearing within the borders but lastly after almost 8 tries, my deposit was done. I swear & stand by my word, that there is nothing better than this APP. This has eliminated a lot of stress out of my life for not being able to make it to the branch due to physical disabilities. Well over an hour and it says it's still updating. I didn't see anything wrong with the old app. At least it worked! Why change for a worse system. Yes, time to switch banks.
Absolute garbage. Can't log in unless the remember me feature is turned off and the quick view option STILL doesn't work. The app was perfect before the November 2016 upgrade, now it's useless. It's been 6 months, why has NOTHING been fixed?! I don't know why I'm even rating and reviewing this, the developers clearly haven't bothered to read any of the others stating virtually the exact same complaints....that is assuming they have the mental capacity to read at all, let alone comprehend the colossalness of their ineptitude.
I really enjoy this app. I've tried apps for other banks and they can't hold a candle to how well this app was made.
Works for viewing balances and transfers, but cheque deposit distorts images and then won't allow deposits.
A good experience, and is far superior to the current desktop access. Would only recommend having a numbers only keyboard appear when entering the PAC, similar to when typing out $ amounts within the app.
Lags a lot. Whenever urgent, never works on time. Crashes most often. Very unhappy.
Up until recently the app worked ok. However now ever time I try to use the app I get a message telling me that I need to download the latest version. This I've done but still the same message and no access.
App won't start. Just complains about not being updated (which it is) and has "connection problems" even though I have a perfect Internet connection.
I wish I had a dollar for every time this app won't let me access my account from my mobile.

When i first got this app i think about 2 years ago, i set everything up including e-transfer payees and bill payees with no trouble, no major issues of any kind really. now, after this most recent update, it took me 6 attempts to login because of server issues which it notified me of, all my contacts are gone and i cannot find my bill payees and i have things to pay right now. this is extremely frustrating and i may be applied late charges.
1.Weird entry fields, starting from the right instead of the left - very strange and confusing. Set up as if it is not meant for North American users. 2. Numeric entry in field requires changing to another entry screen for a decimal. Rather stupid for a banking app. 3. No way to erase the last digit/symbol in entry field if you've made an error, must exit and start over. I am NOT impressed by this app at all
Recently started distorting my images when depositing cheques, stretches them and then says the images arent usable. Also I can't access any calendar functions, so I can't set a payment or transfer for a future date or the app crashes. Both used to work fine
This morning the app started acting up saying it's having server issues any "fix" so far? Otherwise I have to say one of the best banking apps out there.
Why the Asian style of right to left entry data fields? Your eyes in English language read from left to right. It's ridiculous that you enter your password and answering security questions are right justified. Thumbs down vancity.

Please make this app "Split screen mode" supported in Android so I can work this app with my accounting app in one screen!! Also I don't understand why "another relationship " is not memorable to send money. It's pain to look for the number every time I use it because I can not rely on my memory.
