Life in the UK Test is a mandatory test for individuals seeking an ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) in the UK or Naturalisation as a British citizen.

The test has 24 questions to answer and lasts 45 minutes. You must answer at least 18 correct answers to pass the test. A score of 75% is required to pass the test.

The test is based mostly based on chapters 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 of a revised handbook (second edition) Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey to Citizenship.
