Does the job if set up correctly

I had to hook it up to the computer to enable the ADB command this app is asking for, and after that, the stats showed up perfectly as if I had root enabled. I was able to figure out that the TRIPADVISOR and UBER apps were inducing severe wakelocks on my Galaxy Note 3 and I promptly removed them, and now battery life seems great. Thank you.

The new Grant Battery Stats option worked for me. Thanks for both the app and the helpful slide presentation. Note: I've used the Minimal Adb drivers on PC and tried to kill and restart server to make it work.

Perfect app for my non-root GS6 Edge(really love Samsung Pay)! I had Greenify w/ Agressive Doze and still had battery problems. Installed this app, RAN ADB COMMANDS INTO MY PHONE(this is the key to make the app work flawlessly), charged up my phone, let it rest overnight removed from the charger and found the culprit! Instagram was killing my battery. Battery has been awesome so far! I am glad I was able to find the culprit.

The data disappears at what looks like 24 your intervals which isn't massively useful if you miss the 24 hour time that it happens. It shouldn't reset on its own, or if it does the older data should be available. It'll get 5 stars if you can do this!

A developer who didn't just give up when restrictions ruined the functionality of their app, I love it. Thank you so much. Finally I can get rid of my mystery battery drain (Google Fit by the way) and enjoy my phone like it's supposed to be. 5 whole hearted stars.

Horrible. Doesn't work with marshmallow, nor does the chrome app work with windows. To the dev: use Ubuntu (lol), or Mac OS is not an excuse.

Have always used it on my rooted phones, and great it can be used on a non-rooted one, too! To those people moaning about how it "doesn't work", or you have to "hack" your phone as one guy wrote... RT*I! It's not that hard.

Great apps, i now know what apps cause my samsung e7 to not able to dim / back out the screen. Although i'm having difficulties to start this apps -after installing samsung usb cable, wakelock detector finally able to be start at my unroot phone. Thanks a lot developer.

Works great on all 3 phones we currently use (one phone did require manual ADB command to get working … ADB tcpip 5555). Clear instructions (but it still has a steep learning curve for people not familiar with ADB and not used to pc/Mac) on how to set it up. It also has a good documentation on how to read the data reported by the app . Very useful in my attempt to debug my phone's high power consumption problem. It enables the users to get a good idea of the problem's causes, the real challenge, however, is to find the right way to tackle the problem.

Only for nerds This app is very useful but it can be a hassle to set up for inexperienced users. I would suggest cleaning up the tutorial and integrate it directly into the app.

Works without root on MM (6.x)+ with the correct permissions: "adb -d shell pm grant com.uzumapps.wakelockdetector.noroot android.permission.BATTERY_STATS" Please add the command to the app description!

Thank you! I found out what was causing a wakelock on my device and was able to fix it. It was driving me crazy that my phone would never deep sleep.

Very good app! I gave 4 stars only because of problems with installation unlocker and drivers on Windows.

Installed the app and went on my Linux machine and worked perfectly. Thank you for making it work for us who haven't rooted their devices or don't have a way to root!

My HTC 10 had been inexplicably coming on at least once an hour, usually more, for the last couple months. I did a web search and saw where wakelock was recommended to find out why. Unless you want to root your phone, choose the lite version. The instructions were easy to follow and worked. I found the guilty app and uninstalled it. Highly recommended. Oh, and it works on Android N.

Works perfectly on my Windows desktop and HTC M9 with Nougat. I made sure adb saw my phone (make sure you force Device Manager to use the ADB driver then reboot the computer), then used the Chrome app's Grant Permission option (bottom button) to make it work.

Helped me find what kept my device from dozing and helped me get increase my idle battery life.

With the developer mode USB trick helped me find the app that was killing my battery life! Very grateful!

For everyone having problems it does work. Use your cmd on your computer to start the server as wakelockunlocker wasnt doing to for me.

Working very well on new non-rooted Google Pixel phone, using the simple adb hack. But, how can I get rid of the ads? The upgrade button within the app seems to point to the rooted version only. Will add the 5th star when I can have the ads go away - For a no ad version, I would be happy to pay and support the developer of this stellar app.

Instructions for computer connection make no sense... Grant better stats?!?.. What does that mean? Where do you do that?

I installed this and the root app..but it would seem this doesn't work on a moto x play.. it doesn't seem to recognise when the root program is installed

Just follow the directions for Chrome and it works perfectly on ATT Samsung Note 4. I already had Samsung ADB drivers installed so it was a easy.

Doesn't work on OnePlus 3. Made everything with instructions. Always says "Failed to perform this task..."

No problem getting it up in running on Windows with an M9. If you aren't a dev or a hacker getting adb running with Windows can be a challenge. This isn't UzumAPP's fault. Great job and thank you!

Works! It's really great I didn't have to root the phone to get this information.

A little workaround and you have wakelocks again.

Be sure to start the ad adb server (after download), before opening the chrome app on pc. Just installed. No other comments, yet.

Such a useful app and the no root workaround is great!

It still work after i upgrade from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1, no need to connect pc to unlock it.

The Chrome App does not detect the phone (on Mac OS, phone has Android 6.0)
