Ужастики на ночь. Страшилки

Я не знаю, что такое есть в этих страшных историях на ночь. Может быть атмосфера? Ведь страшилка рассказывается ночью, при свете фонаря или у костра, желательно где-нибудь вдали от цивилизации, когда каждым нервом чувствуешь большой и неизвестный мир, и эта неизвестность пугает больше всего. А может самый ужас страшилки в том, что герой знает, что происходит (его не раз предупреждают), но все равно делает по своему.

Классная вещь – страшилка, и зря мы ее выбросили из нашей жизни. Я по крайней мере не желаю, чтобы этот простой и уникальный жанр литературы исчез из жизни детей.
