Incluida dentro de la Red de Espacios Naturales Protegidos de Extremadura, se encuentra la Reserva Natural de la Garganta de los Infiernos

Comprendida en la Sierra de Tormantos al noreste, la Sierra de Gredos al suroeste y el río Jerte, uno de los grandes atractivos del Valle del Jerte es la Reserva Natural de la Garganta de los Infiernos, dentro de la que encontraremos una gran variedad de flora y fauna, un sitio excepcional para disfrutar de la naturaleza.
