About Battery Charge Notifier
Light weight app that notifies user at user defined battery levels to either charge the device, or to unplug and stop charging. This helps in observing the 40-80 rule of Li-ion batteries.
Most battery apps on the market only notify when the battery is fully charged, but only a few that notify user at user defined battery levels, and even fewer, if any, that can do so accurately with very little resource. That's why we wrote this app.
The reason why we want to stop charging before a battery is fully charged is to extend the lifespan of the battery. Virtually all mobile devices nowadays uses Lithium batteries and Lithium batteries work best when they are charged in the middle range, say 40% to 80% or 50% to 75%. So if you are really particular about optimizing and extending your battery's lifespan, Battery Charge Notifier could help you achieve it.

NOTE:
◆ If you are using a ◆◆◆Samsung◆◆◆ device with Smart Manager, it can interfere with the operation of Battery Charge Notifier by deactivating it when the user hasn't launched the app in a pre-defined period (e.g. 3 days). Since Battery Charge Notifier is designed to work mostly in the background without the need for the user to launch the application in most cases, this can be an issue. You can workaround this problem by adding Battery Charge Notifier to the white list so that Battery Charge Notifier will not get "optimized" by the Smart Manager. Here's how to do so: Settings → Smart Manager → Battery → Detail button in "App power saving" section → Battery Charge Notifier → Select "Turn Off".
◆ If you are using an ◆◆◆Asus◆◆◆ device with Auto-start Manager. Please make sure Battery Charge Notifier is allowed to run in background, and that "Clean up in Suspend" is disabled in the Settings menu. Otherwise, Auto-start Manager may decide that Battery Charge Notifier is not being actively used and prevent Battery Charge Notifier to further monitor the battery levels.
◆ If you are using a ◆◆◆Huawei◆◆◆ device. Please make sure Battery Charge Notifier is set as a Protected App under Phone Manager → Power Saving (Android 5)/Battery Manager (Android 6) → Protected apps. Otherwise, the system will stop Battery Charge Notifier from monitoring battery level in the background.
◆ If you are using other battery saver type of apps, they may interfere with Battery Charge Notifier. Please try to add Battery Charge Notifier to their white list if applicable when this happens.
◆ There is currently a known issue with Android Lollipop (5.0, 5.0.1) that would affect the accuracy of our app, which may result in delays when getting notifications. Google seems to have fixed this issue in 5.0.2, 5.1 and later.

The app is a very good one, I love it. It works very well, it doesn't make mistakes, not killed by any other app. But please one thing is lacking, please one minute interval is too short to repeat the alarm. It's a little disturbance, please I and my friends is sincerely begging you to make it optional; that is, one minute, two minutes, three minutes and so on, so that we can choose the best as desired. Love it, just strange design choice IMO, I would make alerts granular, what if I only want fully charged alert to not overcharge battery? Also switching alert on and off involves a bit of menu / settings navigation and if you cannot charge straight away on low battery allert could be weird if it goes off at work or during a meeting. Maybe start with info screen as you do then have a quick tab "allerts" so one can easy switch on and off alerts on various battery levels independently? It s not always the user functionality shaping the design, it's the design that lets users do more than enough on the topic so users don't need to download another app on the topic

Stopped working, tried others that work, hope developer can somehow resolve the problem, as I can then go back to 5 star! (originally wrote - What a gem of a find! Does exactly what it says, easily and efficiently, an extra bonus is no adverts, which certainly spoil some apps - well done to the developers).

It may lack some functions compared to other similar apps out there. But this app is simple and light, gets the job done without any ads and annoying full screen pop-ups. Simply amazing.

The App works fine now. Using for my Lenovo P2. But first time it didn't activate when battery crossed the limit mentioned, so had to start the app, and from there it went fine.

Finally. I think I've found a battery charger alarm that actually works. I've tried 20. They either can't be customised, or stop working in a couple of days. This one seems to be working fine after a week, and you can set it exactly how you want.

So far so good just started using this app it's going to take me some time to give you a better rating. I was just wondering can you add a tracking remaining time that you can set yourself because I am using a battery app that uses a future like that because I am just thinking maybe that tracking remaining time allow you to get that full charge you are looking for right along with it notification so you won't leave it plugged in too long...

The best battery notifier app ever , Can you please add 1.sound notification for high battery temperature ( custom temp/ ringtone ), 2.custom repeat notification sound time (10 mins/ 30 ..etc ), 3. Custom Notification sound volume with Force to un mute option ), " incase notification sets to 0 by mistake", That would be just perfect ! Update: Thanks for very much for your reply, Very good to know that your working to make repeating notification by custom time instead of periodically, please put the other the 2 requests in your priority list as well, can't waite for the next app update :).

I have installed/uninstalled batt full apps. All have failed my expectations. Gonna give this one a try shall we? If it works...it'll get my 5. (Btw, im using S6edge running on Marshmallow.) Replying 9/19/16: Going on to 4*! Its working like i hoped it would! Great job! My only gripe is the limited tone choices. It'd be perfect if we could choose from ringtones as well, not from message tones only. Bdw, the app works even with the factory app cleaning enabled! Nice. (2-1-17) uninstalled/installed again. The full batt notification somehow stopped working. Now its ok.

Small footprint, works well, although I've White listed it, doesn't alert if the app is closed. Can this be resolved! I'd love it to be able to actively toggle the charging, but I imagine the hardware isn't up to that.

Its a simple, unobtrusive app that does what its supposed to... And the ability to choose notification sounds from your phone selection is a nice touch - how about adding the ability to have more than one discharge notification, so the user can be warned of battery power loss at different battery levels? GREAT APP!
