Supra eKEY® for Android
This product has never worked as reliably as it should. There have been several times that I have had to re-install it on my Android. There have been numerous times that no service was available when I was showing houses and today when I called Supra there was a Thank you for calling Supra but the call went into cyberspace someplace and I didn't get further than no message...!!!
You have to do a manuel update daily. Instead of just clicking on update you have to go to the website and get a new code everyday. Then many times it doesn't connect with lock. Many agents in our office have to go save another if they can't get in to do a showing. This reflects on us.
Impossible to reach "customer service' by phone Automated attendant says wait time is less than 1 minutes... I am now at 15+ and counting. I am tired of hearing how important I am to firms that truly couldn't care less. And their instructions about logging in to update account information? Doesn't work. Would love to have an alternative service or service provider. I rarely write bad reviews but this time wasting nonsense is distracting and unnecessary. Have a happy.
Appreciate the ability to use phone instead of carrying separate device. Needs two things... -ability to set the time it auto-updates (it pops up over what I'm doing EVERY day) - Fingerprint recognition option in place of passcode
The automated system and customer service is a Joke. You've hit the lotto if you ever speak to a human. I had to cancel showings bc my ekey stopped working today. It'd be nice to not get an emergency code every single day.
Great if it worked with Google fi. After calling in numerous times to get emergency updates so I can get into a house for a showing, I'm bailing. It's not worth dropping my $30/month phone and data for 75/month ago I can use Supra. You all better adjust more people are going to be moving to Google fi
I have had this app on my phone since May 2016. I have tried it on at least 10 different homes with no success. I keep getting the error message emergency update ekey. I do and still get the same error message. I was unable to show a few of homes because of it.
Very unreliable. The app has a very difficult time connecting to the FOB, often requiring a restart of the phone or tablet. Very embarrassing when attempting to show a property to a client. I've decided it best to go with an alternative way of providing keys to other agents on listings. As for showings, I'm stuck with this inferior and outdated technology, and make do the best I can.
Have to re-authorize almost daily to use the app. Tried calling support several times and always on hold and have never spoken to anyone. I've been locked out of buildings and had to have somebody let me in with a key. Expensive to have an app that doesn't work properly. Who wants to start a class action lawsuit?
Don't get if you have Project Fi! It will not work. You will have to call continuously to get a new authorization code numerous times a day to get it to update. They told me that they don't support project Fi network.
While the basis of the app is great, and convenient, it doesn't work half the time. It never updates, I always have to manually do it. It takes at least 3 or four tries for it to actually communicate with the lockbox. Please fix!
Love this app. If you every have trouble with it not opening keyboxes simply turn off Bluetooth on phone. Wait for a couple seconds. Turn Bluetooth on phone back on. Works everytime doing this when in occasion I have a problem.
Last update says "reduces occurance of error 9B0D", but in reality thats all I get now. I used to have issues with old Supra boxes with key fob, but now I cant open ANY box. Customer service only blames your phone, because why admit the fact that you have a bad product and bad service.
Never works im sick of paying for this crap. All i ever get is error 9B33 no one at supra is of any help!! Hate Supra and this app
Can't get a human on the phone...no response to email. Haven't been able to use it in over a week!
Hopeless on Android. Time after time got update errors, even after calling in to Supra. Once after calling in due to a 'copyright error' code that the Supra person had never even heard of before, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and got a new authorization code, then tested it immediately afterwards and even though it worked at that moment on a keybox at home, an hour later failed to work (same error code) on a keybox for a showing. Worked fine when I had an iPhone but the Android app is supposed to work too and instead I was paying for nothing, finally had to go back to the old fashioned Active Key. The exact same thing happens on my husband's Android. Supra does not create support tickets, they just say they'll let the tech department know - there's no way that I've heard of to follow the progress of any kind of bug fix request. *Just saw on someone else's one-star review that it does not work if you use Project Fi as your cell service provider, that would explain it.
I can't believe we realtors have to pay for this. It's so buggy making it so frustrating to use.
Each time I have changed phones and tried to update my Supra eKey, I have experienced delays and problems. Just trying to get an authorization code is difficult!!!. Let's not talk about the wait time for the customer support!!!!
New nag screen asks me if I've finished showing. Can't use my phone until clicking to answer the question. Supra knows of no way to stop this behavior.
Still costs over $200/yr to open locks... We need a service that is not a subscription model and is reasonably priced.
One less thing to carry around, and I've never had an access issue.
Have had no problem unless in an area that has limited cell service. Need to remember to update prior to showing homes in those areas.
I think this is extremely convenient, and offers far more security than a basic lock box. It has worked for me everytime.
There's no reason in the world for this app to need access to my browsing history, or any of my phone calls or other information.
I can't imagine logging into any other system, this makes my job easier!
Recently got thus,alp on Samsung Note 3. Works great no issues. Automatically updates. Don't have to remeber to charge update ect. Wish had got it sooner. 1 last item to haul around plys $45 cheaper per yr. HAR Mls Houston . Works great.
Stealing money from the realtors.. never works.. so many errors.. it takes an hour to speak to customer service.. they should get rid Supra key box.. dont even know why ppl use it to show their houses..
App is horrible. Company is awful. If this service wasn't basically a requirement I'd never use this dumb thing again. I spend a lot of money and get almost nothing for it in return. Worst ever.
Stuck in Demo mode, how do you get back to activate key?
Almost every day the key fails to update and when I force one it fails
Had to install/reinstall too many times to get an update key. Not fun in front of clients.
How a company can get along with such a garbage unupdated application is beyond me.

Has trouble communicating with fob every time. Will have to cancel and restart, usually twice before it will recognize fob.***Update*** Ever since our MLS got iBoxes, the Bluetooth communication is quick, how ever I must force close the every single time I open a box, very annoying.
I don't know if it's because I'm using Android's latest software, but my key never gets a connection the first try. This has left me and my clients waiting in the rain while the dumb software tried to connect. Once successful, I still hear the beeping like it's trying to find the box. I have to manually close the app from the recent apps tray to get it to stop. This has been going on for months! Fix it!

The website is dysfunctional. After sitting with my office manager at our association she was unable to get me into the website. It will not accept my e-Key account ID #. It is the one that is the top of your e-key app. This means getting back on the phone and hope that it will not take 1/2 hour before they can answer the phone. I would give this web site and e-key 0 stars.
