Bits Watch Face

Great job for the developers. I would give it 5 if it worked properly. None of the email or missed call links update and always shows zero even after I gave all the permissions. Also it's very bright even with the dark them and at 1 brightness level so is it possible to put brightness toggle in the app settings? Further, Is it possible to add brightness level in the settings to lower even below the embedded ones? Shortcuts to missed call should open the phone on the wear as well. But nice work generally

One of the best watch faces, the only problem I have is the weather doesn't work properly but apart from that its simple and clean. The weather problem has already been stated by other people, I hope it gets fixed. I would like a way to change the time to 24hour time from 12 hour vise versa

As of 11/23/2016. The weather widget part of this smartphone app doesn't seem to work after the recent update. As of 10/1/2015, I am starting to love this app after the update. It seems to be functioning better and work a little more coiseive with the Google software. I emailed the developer about issues with this app on 09/30/2015 and I received a response on the same day which was very much appreciated. This specific app is officially my favorite app to use on my Google Wearable device.

Used to really love this watch face for my first gen moto 360 but the last few days the watch face keeps freezing. I have to switch faces to get the time right again. Would love to keep using but having the right time is kind of important. Maybe I'll come back someday

I have tried many watch faces and I think this is the best so far. That said, it doesn't show steps. Always 0. Google fit works however. Also it shows weather, but if I select it, bits crashes. Update: Now bits has disappeared from Android wear. It shows as installed on my phone but doesn't show as available watch face. Have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Very frustrating.

Almost perfect! The only thing this watch face doesn't do that I need is custom shortcuts to launch apps (or change from the default shortcuts). I would also like to see complications for unread text messages a separate complication for the phone battery, and have the email complication launch my email app on my phone. This is one of my favorite watch faces and would be my default face if it had those missing features. I use a different one with custom shortcuts for work. Add the missing features I mention and will change to 5*!

Really good idea but poorly realised. Email and missed call complications do mot do anything. Needs the ability to customise complications, for example Keep instead of email etc. Better background choices would be better and overall it is a bit of a battery drain. I guess, in short, it promises more than it delivers. Probably an uninstall.

Fully customisable. Haven't tried missed calls, emails, etc yet; but time, date, battery and weather are all great. Get a snapshot of all these details on your main watch face and a single tap on any of them provides further details. Very useful!

It is by far the best watch face out there. Been using it for over a year now. Unfortunately, it's been crashing a lot lately. I'm using a Moto 360 2nd Gen. Would have given 4.5 if there was an option!!

I love absolutely everything about this app, other that sometimes the weather refuses to update for days at a time. You should add a manual refresh button. By a glance at the comments I can tell others are having the problem. Restarting the watch does not help, a patch needs to be released.

I love this watchface, one of my favorites from my original G Watch and still find myself using it on my LG Style occasionally too. Also, love the changelogs that have a short story, kinda funny. But I digress, the watchface is still one of my many favorites and I highly recommend it for people who enjoy minimalist UIs.

Plenty of information. Time difficult to read, being too small in ambient mode. Would be nice to remove the circles in ambient as per original version, as it looks much better without them

It's nice but it crashes a lot. Seen the same thing on 2 different watches now - crashes a couple times a day and every 2nd time you need to switch over to another face and then back again.

Come on!!! It waste a lot of battery, I charged my watch in the night and disconnect it at 7:00 hrs and I don't have battery at 14:00 hrs. The watch face is nice, but I can't use it without battery

I like the watch face but there is one problem with it... When you go into do not disturb mode there is a sign in the centre of the screen even when clicking on different circles like the weather. Pls fix

I love these faces, they are as beautiful as the games you make. I wish i could select which email accounts are shown in the unread count. They are seemingly random in priority and have left out my most important account.

It was good but then it started showing the weather, steps and battery life wrong. Then, it would sometimes just show a black screen. And now it is only black. I have used this watch face for a week and mainly loved it but the last few days have been bad. I have decided to uninstall is because of the bugs. I was running this on the Huawei Watch with the latest firmware.

I would love if you added Muzei support so that the background changed to whatever Muzei is. If you don't know what Muzei is it is an open source app that automatically changes your devices wallpaper from different sources.

Weather now works. 5 star watch face wich has become my favorite. If there is one thing I wish the developer would add is the ability to choose witch Gmail account to shoe or not to show. Even though my other account is JUST for YouTube and not mail and sync is off for it, it still wants to show me my messages.

This is a watch face to keep at all times. Without it my watch would be horrible. I personally think that it can make any android wear look awesome. Although this is a vary good watch face it would be even better if they could make more bubble space and support more things to put in bubbles.

You'd been hard pressed to find a more useful watch face out there for your smartwatch. You get seven customizable bubbles of information all at a glance that you can press for more information without having to open an app but can then press again to launch an app if you need to; however, I wish that you could change the default app that is launched. TO THE DEVELOPERS: A grid style app drawer button would be cool, too.

This watch face has a lot to love, but a lot to not love. It has everything that you want, and nothing that you don't need. Simple and clean. What it does need is more customization options, such as putting in your own backgrounds and maybe toggleable options such as wifi or data. I've tried countless watch faces and I can't stop coming back to this, but it's not fully what I want. If you want something simple and clean, this is perfect. (used on Moto 360 1st Gen)

I absolutely love this, best watch face I've come across! But...! Isn't there always a but? I'm using the Aboriginal Forest face with only 3 bits, time, weather and date. By 1430 hrs this afternoon my watch battery was at 10% from 100% this morning. I've not had this issue before. I'm hoping there's something we can do as I love this app and faces? I'm using a Huawei watch which is only 3 months old. Hope you are able to help me out.... Thank you!

Weather (even when phone is set to high accuracy) fails to display correct area. Tap weather, could not retrieve weather?? Watch is connected and Google now works?? Missed calls fail to show. Hopefully, this soon will work 100%. 5 stars if all works in the future.

The watchface is the best, but as long as the weather works for a while and then shows only the question mark I can't give it 5 stars. I've done everything you said to other people and it does the same, the problem lies within the code because older versions worked fine. Also, it would be great it the weather won't rely on the location, a way to choose a city in the app settings would be great.

I keep coming back to this hoping that they have sorted out the battery drain issues but the problem remains the same. 50% in four hours is simply not good enough when I can get 16h to 50% with stock watch faces.

Hi, I cannot configure "missed calls". Authorization is required on the phone (SAMSUNG S6) but i am then routed to application settings and get lost. Any idea ? Thanks

I really like the concept, but I do wish it was a bit more flexible. I would love to see more complications, styles, and more options. I rated it 5 stars because it works exactly as advertised and is good enough that I am making it my new watch face even though there are others that are much nicer from a design standpoint. But this one offers me the most information at a glance, and that's why I bought my Wearable watch in the first place. I would happily pay a buck or two for a premium version with more designs and options.

Been looking at this watch face for a while and finally gave it a try, i have to say this is a great and creative face. I like that its interactive (except for the email circle) but i recommend it and like it a lot. Oh one thing you should make one of the circles a music control one somehow

It's annoying to have to uninstall Wear Mini Launcher just to accept the Weather permissions and be presented with a useless dialog on the watch. You're not alone though, Google Messages has the same behaviour.

Nice complications options but weather should be better designed with option for fixed location. The aboriginal themes are good but way too many variations, please add some more modern options for watch faces. Hi

This watch face literally has every piece of information I've wanted on my smartwatch. Most watch faces look nice but they always seem to lack the key pieces of information I am looking for. The only thing I could ask for is more and more customization! Maybe let us choose how long the quick preview window will stay up once you click on a bit or "complication". For example I love the fact that it shows seconds when you tap on the digital clock but I would like for it to stay up a little bit longer.

After speaking with the developer, I learned that email notifications are only supported through the gmail app, which is fine if you use that app, but I prefer Inbox or the stock email app over gmail. I would still like to have more flexibility in placing the circles myself, but that is probably nitpicking :) Good work devs!

This is what I expected from a smartwatch to be able to gather several information on the main screen. Not just a silly analog watch. Only thing missing is a toolbox menu with flashlight and stopwatch. I'm using a Huawei watch

Before I start please don't copy paste the comment youve been posting in the previous comments. I cant see anything on my phone or my watch. Total waste of time. Spent an hour or two on this but In vain. Be specific in your instructions please. I have galaxy s7 and gear s2. Are these compatible ? I see no sign of it in the samsung gear app on the phone neither do I see any sign of it on the phone. Downloaded some app called Android Wear and couldn't pair with it as well. Total inconvenience

Why does the "steps" complication not take its cue from the fitness app on the watch (ie. Google Fit in my case)? Desired metric (step, time, calories) and desired goal should both come from Fit. Why hijack something that is already a core part of the ecosystem? Also, would love to see a grey on black "Utilitarian" style.

Back when I had my Samsung galaxy s4 I had no issues with this watchface and it was by far my favourite. But since upgrading to the oneplus 3 I can't find this watch face in my android wear list after installing. Please fix :(

Nice watch face, but unusable due to battery drain. My phone battery was like a countdown with this active. It stopped as soon as I changed the watch face to something else.

This watch face was working very well on my first generation Moto 360. I used 7 modules, and they kept me well informed at a glance. The last update, however, has made this app a battery drain. My battery life now goes from 18 hours with a default watch face ,to about 3 hours with the Bits watch face. Once this new battery problem is fixed, I would recommend this app.

I really like this watch face though I believe it could be better! It would be nice if we had a bit more customization. For example, in dimmed mode, I don't want to have 7 circles lit up. Just clock hands and maybe the date. And of course more options for the circles themselves, calculator, timer/stopwatch, etc. I love how the circles expand into a bigger view without opening an app. And the calendar!! That's my favorite feature!
