The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali succinctly outlines the art and science of Yoga meditation for Self-Realization. It is a process of systematically encountering, examining, and transcending each of the various gross and subtle levels of false identity in the mind field, until the jewel of the true Self comes shining through.
The Yoga Sūtras of Patañjali are 196 Indian sūtras (aphorisms) that constitute the foundational text of Ashtanga Yoga, also called Raja Yoga. In medieval times, Ashtanga Yoga was cast as one of the six orthodox āstika schools of Hindu philosophy.
The Yoga Sutras were compiled around 400 CE by Patañjali, taking materials about yoga from older traditions.Together with his commentary they form the Pātañjalayogaśāstra.

Please add direct view of particular sutra. Every time we open the app it begins from first sutra. Sutra needs numbering also.

Guys, but a very big mistake you did. No sutra numbers.. Pls since how add the numbers... If not Sanskrit versus for correct pronunciation, pls at least add sloka numbers.. And if possible search based on sutra number or words. .. Pls. You guys are best but these two changes urgent.

Great translation! With patanjali, guru Granth & the lotus sutra, misunderstanding enlightenment is impossible.

The app would be perfect if it had the Sanskrit text preceding the English transliteration along with a breakdown of the meaning of individual words. But still I am very greatful for the app as is.
