About Notify My Android

Notify My Android allows you to deliver push notifications from any application to your Android device, through our easy-to-use API that can be integrated with any software.

NMA is the notification app with the biggest number of plugins, services and applications that already integrates with our API.

Find out how to forward notifications from Growl (Win and Mac), Snarl, OpenNMS, Nagios/Icinga, PRTG, and many others to your Android. Create cool triggers on Zapier and receive push notifications from Twitter, Asana, Dropbox, Github and many others! The possibilities are endless!

You get a quota of 5 notifications per day for free and can upgrade to a Premium Account for unlimited notifications for a one time fee.

Go to http://www.notifymyandroid.com/apps.jsp to check a list of currently supported applications.

Other apps that have built-in integration with NMA: aNag, MetaWatch (Read the notifications on your watch!) and Tasker.

Our public API is simple, fast and reliable (hundred of millions of notifications already delivered), more info:

Like many reviews, this was a great app. However, it recently started behaving oddly, where now it only shows in notifications if I have an odd number of notifications i.e. and even number hides it. No longer worth the money.

If there was an option for zero stars I would give that. Used to work great for years. Now it doesn't work and don't bother trying to ask for help cause no response will be given.

I had the paid version and it stopped notifying me with vibrations (messages are still dispatched in the app though) I have reported this issue few times, but unfortunately the developer are not taking care of the issues reported anymore and they don't reply at all. If you are using the free version, DO NOT go to the paid version, first make sure you will be receiving support in case you face issues with the app. One star for poor customer support.

Update Aug 2016 Don't waste your time or money on this. It was a superb app but is now non-functional. Decreasing star rating to 0 or 1. Update May 2016, I have been using this for over 5 years (since 2011) and had given it a 5 star rating. Recently there was an interruption of the service for several days and no sign of life on their support pages left me cold. Tweets are more than a year old and the link to their support forum is now broken. It breaks my heart that I need to do this but because of the lack of support I am revising my rating to 3 stars. I can no longer recommend this a paid app. They should sell it to someone who could support it. Part of my old review: It runs as a service. This is a sweet application. No adverts or privacy things to get in your face. Update: April 29 2015 Using a OnePlus for nearly a year since I wrote my review and NMA continues to be solid. Too bad development stopped because I wanted more elaborate quiet hour features the dev mentioned was planned. Only feature update has been to the price. Now using this with the NMAMail feature that emails the notifications.

I've been using NMA for 8 months now without issue, great product I really like it. I get notifications on my phone about issues with our servers, systems etc. I got a new phone and needed to setup my account, the problem is since I only logged into my account once when I set this up I didn't save my username and password (my fault which I own). So I emailed the support department at NMA. Since Aug 10th I've emailed them 5 times at different email addresses they have listed to get ahold of someone,.... anyone!!! No response. They don't h ave a toll free number nor is their twitter account active. The business entity still exists but literally no one is there at NMA to help. So what I thought would be an easy request to help me reset my account, I'm still stuck in no mans land looking for some help with on one around from NMA to do so. Josh

This application worked great for me, but today it seems to be stopped. Anyone know more? Monday morning in Europe. I hope they will fix the problem over the weekend. Monday. It works again! So my 5 stars are back

Forums Down For Months, Email To Notification Stopped Working, App Fails To Autostart Alot Of The Time Causing Missed Notifications. Was A Great App, Hence Why I Paid For It, But Its Seen Its Time.

A great app ... but suddenly without prior notice it doesnt work anymore. The website doesnt allow you to login anymore . No forum access. But you still can register as a new user and pay ...

I think either this dude died or is not bothered with this app anymore. No more service, no replies, no nothing.. Don't waste your time installing this.

I hate that I have to give this a 1 star review but with two long outages within a year with no status updates or any information given I'm recommending looking elsewhere. I paid for this app but have moved to Pushover and haven't looked back.

O70%
by O####:

Used to be great. Now it is highly unreliable and messages can be delayed for hours or worse. Project appears to be dead and unmaintained. Migrating to Pushover.

U70%

This app and its service worked great back in early 2015, but it looks like the developer has abandoned it. No longer works. Real bummer. Now I'm using Pushover.

U70%
by U####:

DO NOT PURCHASE - NO LONGER IN SERVICE Same as the other reviews, some time back the guys running this did a runner - they're mail domain no longer exists, they don't respond to any attempt at contact. Annoying considering they were selling $5 lifetime membership, only to vanish a few months later.

Y70%
by Y####:

Abandoned app. Is there a way to get Google to remove apps that are no longer supported?

A70%
by A####:

I get notifications via regular SMS text and through here. The messages coming through NMA - severely delayed. Not helpful at all.

Maybe 1 day a week i will wake up and have a nma notification that a couchpotato movie has downloaded... but normally i have to manually open nma to see.. still not fixed a year later.

doesn't work you supposedly register bot can't log in say your login is invalid

I've received only a couple of notifications since May 24, when I should be getting a couple per day. Email notifications are being returned as "delayed". The forums on the website are blocked, and I have not gotten a response from the support email address either. The system isn't working, and there is no support. Do not buy the premium edition.

Stopped working. Nothing changed on my side. Even still, I checked and rechecked API's tested sending messages, nothing worked. I contacted support with the error messages I had been receiving, but haven't heard anything. Sad, I really liked the app.

For those that are having non-startup issues, it may be because you updated your rom. Un-installing and re-installing the app worked for me. Now it starts and stays running. Otherwise all fine but I wish it was more activly developed.

Everything works perfectly. Didn't have any problems yet. If it would be possible to change the Vibration settings for each priority category, the app would be awesome. I'd really enjoy this feature in later Versions!

I70%

Great app, serves it's purpose, even bought the premium edition. Unfortunately the app doesn't send notifications unless it's running in the background at all times which is less than ideal. Hopefully there will be a fix for this though.

T70%

Poor support. I've sent various email inquiries of the last year and have yet to receive any response.

O70%

Randomly stops receiving notifications. Use Pushover instead of this crap.

T70%

Only 5 notifications a day unless you pay £3.08? Are you kidding? That's more expensive than that majority of apps just to get some notifications.

T70%
by T####:

Had an issue buying the service sent emails never heard a response. Few days later it was working again. But app works for me.

X70%
by X####:

NMA worked really well for a while, but has been useless for months. Notifications occasionally fail for a few days to weeks at a time. The developer is not responsive on the stated Twitter support channel. The app no longer notifies as of Lollipop, but instead has to be opened to check for notifications. I've moved everything to PushBullet.

T70%
by T####:

Changed their endpoint URLs so notification codes embedded in programs no longer work (sickbeard, couchpotato).. thereby making this app useless. Switched to pushbullet and LOVING IT!

Hi. I use this application .. buy it .. work perfect.. I use Nexus 4 and my home controll system using GSM Telit module. By GPRS send email to my account and automatic up to 3 sec receive notification .. super .. Perfect application .. best regards.

Worked perfectly fine for a few months and then *BOOM*, no longer works. Waiting for an email/tweet back from the dev to try and resolve... Been a month and still no response.

It doesn't startup automatically, and you must hope that notifications are send and received. Sorry, but you could better use the good old SMS.

Doesn't seem to start after a reboot
