Tourist language learn & speak

This is an awesome app. I just went through the contents for a few languages and I must say it's quite impressive. Especially since it has things u will need to say in different places like airport, restaurant, hospital, etc categorised accordingly. If u r in a foreign country and u don't know the language, then this is a perfect app to use. Two thumbs up.

This is THE best translation app by miles. It has all the basics you need to help you communicate with confidence... and it even helped me with my Bulgarian girlfriend when we talked. We use it all the time and as she owns a small bar in Burgas, it has given her an extra tool to help with her tourist visitors.

I don't know why Arabic and Korean are higher on the update list than Chinese. I can't get text to voice to work on my Android even though I have dozens of translation apps that use my TTS engine just fine. This app does for Spanish what no other does and that is offer offline voice translation. Do it for Chinese and I'll pay $50 for a copy. No need to be free and you can leave the ads in, I'm that desperate. It is very well organized and is easy to find the phrases needed. Great Job!!! Oh, the 2 stars is because there is no way to access a configuration or setup section of the app. It opens to a list of languages (which I wish could be edited to delete those not wanted) and straight to the use. No other setup functions as indicated in the description.

This was me on that phone Love most of the voices a few hard to hear but have to repeat them any way great app... This is me now on my Galaxy 4 I can not listen to anything it will not play at all n when I go to the option TTS it keeps saying that the app stopped working n asked if I want to report I did report a few times out of the 100 that it did it to me before I decided to change my rating n make this comment on here now.

I grew up speaking eight languages but because of relocation and life experiences I have been downgraded to only three languages. This application is quite a refresher course for me. Very impressed and satisfied with it, kudos to the programmers. Find this is a great application to brief up on languages that I used to use a lot. It's a neat and quick refresher!

This app has many different dialects and is helpful to use in getting to know basic chit chat. But guys there are waaay too many ADS! Plz remove these ones that keep popping up :( really ruins the app

However, there is a slight problem with the numbers in the Hindi section. If I press on for example 5, I get the pronunciation for 6. This is true for the numbers for 1to 10 and probably higher up but I don't know the higher numbers well enough to be sure. Also the phonetics are also off by one.

Its a nice app, its helpful to learn different languages and the tell how will you pronounce it. I will rate this app to 5★★★★★ if the ads will remove on the screen! It irratates me! Once i click to hear the tone or how to pronounce it, it always pop up ads! So please fix this issue.

The amount of ads that pop are are ridiculous! !! Seriously every 3 time you tap on a phrase an ad will pop up. I know it's free and all but there's already ads at the bottom of the screen. This makes this app unbearable at times.

I'm learning chinese and these app helps a lot in pronounciations for beginners, though its in pinyin. It helps me with my japanese too, beacause I don't much time to study either of these languages consciously, so I do it in my spare time right from my phone.

This was a great app. Since last update, a pub pop up every 3-5 click. I tried to send feedback, but the adresse isn't working. I would gladly pay for a pub free version, but I can't find it on Google Play.

I just downloaded it about 10 minutes ago, but so far I really like it. Only minor issue: add the h in through. It says you went trough 20 phrases! Other than that I like this app.

Get rid of the non-stop full page ads and this in not a bad app. Already rated this , and now it want rating aging!1/2 star. Chinese and Cantonese translation is appalling, as in can't. Did anyone actually check all the languages before releasing this app, or is it simply a link to Google Translate that is bad?

The concept and practically is awesome plus ease of use is great! The entire app is filled with ads and using the 'hear it say' option twice will pop up another add. This therefore makes it frustrating to use. I intend to skew the ratings the other way.

I have traveled to the middle east before, primarily Jordan and Turkey. Some of the pronunciations are a bit off. This app is a good guideline for me because I know how to read basic Arabic, but I do not rely on this app's pronunciation. A tip for the creators would be to actually have a recorded human pronunciation.

Pop up adds come up every second phrase you click on. Very annoying. It tells you if you download this free game, it will stop. This is not true, they just keep happening. Other than that, good app.

Either every time or every other time I clicked to hear the phrase it would kick me over to ads for stupid games. I would click close and listen to another and it wiuld immediately pop back up!!! If I had liked this i would have sought out the version you pay for but now I am uninstalling and warning everyone against it!!

From what i've seen so far its really good however some of the languages should have a clearer voice, Romanian for example, it sounds.. tinny and can be hard to replicate the way the words sound

Every time you open the app you need to select a language. So when your traveling in a country, this becomes very repetitive! Also missing some key things. For instance, "I would like...." in a restaurant.

Every time I listen to 4 numbers an add would pop up!!!!Plz stop!and I was thinking why can't we learn Punjabi? I would like you to update it plz.

Too many ads! An ad popped up every three alphabet letters. I would like to get through the whole alphabet instead of having to close ads.

Great app & very useful. The only drawback is the pop ad that keeps popping every time i click a phrase to listen the audio.

0452016 This app was great, now it's terrible. Over a year ago, the audio stopped working. I read some reviews from other users with the same issues. However, the developers have done nothing to fix it. August 2011. Great application! Would give 5 stars if it had more simple conversations.

Tourist language L&S--WOULD be an outstanding app if not for Advertisements EVERY 5 SECONDS. If this sh*t keeps up I'm going to uninstall. Srsly ads are a drag. Ads every 5 seconds are INTOLERABLE!

This app is incredibly useful and I love it paired with other apps like duolingo. The only issue is the voices used. They sound so computerized and mechanic. Not natural at all. It makes me question whether the accents are correct.

I think this app is pretty cool...you actually get to hear how its pronounced. But the pop up ads that appear every few translations/pronunciations are really annoying.

After clicking 4 things an ad appears, close it, click 4 more things and the next ad appears. This could be really good if it had way less ads.

I like the app but it is almost impossible to learn anything since ads keep popping up each time I click on a word. Fix the problem and I'll give you 5 stars

Amazing app! Really appreciate all the hard work that went into this, and totally get that they need to pay for it somehow so that the app can be free for us, hence the ads. That being said, there were WAY too many ads for me (Samsung Galaxy 5 S) - about 1 every third or fourth phrase, which I think is a little overkill. My bf downloaded the same app on his older Motorola Droid and he didn't have the same ads issue.

This app doesn't work offline because you NEED to see stupid ads every damn time you press something. If you turn off your internet connection, the app just refuses to play any sound. When you turn it on again, you are bombed with ads. Absolute rubbish.

The interpreter sounds to much like a robot. Too many app pop ups! Disappointed. You need to be able to see what you are saying before an ad pops up, if you want to learn a language. Especially if using over seas as a helping tool. This app would drive me nuts!

I am learning French and whenever i tried to click on a word every to times, this stupid ad would show up. I think the app itself is cool but way too many ads. It said that when you install the app, all other pop-ups would not come up again, well I downloaded one app and it still would not stop! Sorry people but if you are trying to learn a new language and are reading this, try something else like babble. I'm just trying to tell you people, do not waste your time with this app. Peace

This is an excellent translator app. Very thorough but had a lot of pop up ads that can become distracting. Good enough I'd pay for it just to get the ads removed.

I find this app. very useful and would give it a better rating if it were not for the numerous ads. An advertisement pops up after ever two translations, which makes it almost nonfunctioning and very frustrating.

This app is really helpful, it help me understanding simple phrases in many language, so when I am travelling to several countries I have not found any difficulties to talk with locals (although when they replied me in their language I still could not understand).

Great app, very helpful. One thing I'd change is the voice over for translations. Sometimes it's a tad difficult to understand her. Thanks..

this app is awesome in helping you learn new languages, or to help you communicate in a foreign country. But is excruciatingly annoying for the simple fact that it send you to a stupid game add every other buttons you push. That fact it's almost not worth having this app at all.

Great product the only down fall is the pop ups that come on after picking the speaker a few times. So I downloaded a game so it would stop popping up but it still pops up.. They really need to fix the pop ups.
