Things To Do Des Moines

I thought I would be able to look up events downtown with this app but it's just the unorganized Des Moines Register.

WHERE IS THE CALENDAR

This is my go to app for knowing about upcoming restaurants or discover new ones. The articles are updated regularly and read well on mobile. The latest update was a major change to the format but it works well after you get adjusted to it.

This is the Register's best product by far. It's up to date, easy to use, and comprehensive across different kinds of recreation. This isn't just recycled articles; it's a true mobile-first app. I use it at least once a week.

I am in town for a couple of weeks and saw the app advertised at the airport. I was excited to try it out. When I opened the app it still had last week's events up. I want to know what is happening this weekend. So sad. it could be a great app. The good thing is the articles I did read were good and informative.

No age group between 54 & 65 available for selection. Ask me to create a profile but no link or directions as to how to get there. Where's the feedback or contact us link? Apparently this is it??

So a craft beer festival downtown doesn't rate enough as an event? Really sad app.

The best lists are great and so are the event lists. All around a great source of local things to do. I like the refine functionality , map view and text search provided for events.

We're new to the Des Moines area and don't know a ton of locals, so this helps us find fun activities all the time.
