Tarascon Pharmacopoeia for Android
Good app
Use it daily at work. I like to double check dosages. The only problem I've had I'd when I'm not on WiFi. When not on WiFi or no Internet service app won't load.
I started using this 23 years ago as a resident. I used it a lot for the first 10 years. I don't need it much anymore, but it's nice to have. It's still a great reference. It's always been my go-to reference when prescribing something I'm unfamiliar with. Nice to have on my phone now, especially since I can't read the small print in the book anymore.
Used to be 5 stars, but 2 things have changed in newer updates. 1st & worst...formerly, when subscription expired the app continued & simply ceased updating. Now, unlike a book, when subscription expires, all access to information you've paid for disappears. 2nd, much useful information concerning different uses for each drug or drug class has been removed, leaving remaining information less useful.
Although it doesn't have all the fancy tables like one of the pocket book versions still very fast and easy to access in a hurry (not to mention consistently up to date).
Tarascon Pharmacopeia is one of the only two apps I use of this kind. I still get a new print edition every year too. Sometimes the tables, etc. are easier and faster for me to look at & use.
Recommended by an ER dr with 40y exp. And yes, you must pay $40/yr. Don't want to? Buy the book.
I have several drug apps but I use this one most often. Ive been out of medicine for a little while, this app helps me refresh the order of the parmacologiy.
It's a good application but is missing a range of medication that are very common and should be available
A quite useful app to consult for medication dosages and formulations available on every day basis
Started as a student with paper. Still count on Tarascon when I need answer fast.
Been using this for 9 years now. Undoubtedly very helpful.
Use it daily ... Easier and much quicker than desktop version.
Excellent tool and resource I use daily. Just miss collecting the different colored books each year.
I've used the book since Residency. This is very easy to use and up to date.
I have used this app for the last 10 yrs and wouldn't use anything else.
It's really useful for a quick reference during rounds.
It has just what you need and it is really easy to use.
Missing the drug Stiolto
Just what I need, easy to navigate fast.
I have been using for years. Great app.
Excellent for drug profiles review!
Great quick and easy reference

So lovely
Excellent and handy resource.
Good!!!
Started using this app in 2014. Complained then that it is only a med list. Still does not have common pediatric antibiotic dosing table or pediatric iv meds table. The functionality of the pocket version for me are the quick reference tables where I can just find the weight and know without calculator what dose. I find myself picking up the book instead of using the app always unless I'm away from the book. Wish the app was a true reflection of the pocket edition. Please fix this.
I've used Pocket Pharmacopeia since med school. 26 years now? I still love it on my phone. Easy to use, concise
The doctor I work for pays for my subscription. Its a great app and reference, simple, straight to the point!
Go to drug reference
I bought this at book full price if not more, then it requires more payment for use after a year. This is a scam, I should have an option of update versus no update but inability to use the app totally is a scam... Worse purchase ever and I won't purchase anything from Tarascon
Reliable reference, few mistakes (and no good way to report mistakes that I've found), otherwise recommended
I use it almost every day and have since medical school in the 90s.
Use it daily at work. I like to double check dosages. The only problem I've had I'd when I'm not on WiFi. When not on WiFi or no Internet service app won't load.
Ive had the copy downloaded for over two years now, I bought it for full price bacl then and now it's asking me to pay for a subscription. This here is garbage
